Such a shame

Anonymous, Newegg
29 April 2007
  • Summary: Was a shame to have to spend 3xx on this only to tear it apart for the motherboard. Then transplant it into a Ultr_ micro case.
  • Pros: It has the only 570 ultra chipset motherboard could find in micro. Whats up with that? How come no one makes micro boards?
  • Cons: Case is ugly and very compact. Psu is very weak for a 8800 gts. Shuttle doesnt just sell the motherboard!!

Great when it worked

John L., Newegg
23 October 2006
  • Pros: Ran well, outfitted with 2GB Corsair XMS2, AMD 3800+ (the new low watt one) and dual 329GB Seagate barracudas. No problems except when going to Vista 64-bit, couldn't get drivers to work.
  • Cons: My USB ports were also poorly aligned (as the person's below)and I think this may have caused the final failure. Was just plugging in a new keyboard and when the system did not recognize it I rebooted. System reset and then nothing, no video out just the fans running at full speed. Unplugged ever...

Be careful of your Video Card power needs!

Anonymous, Newegg
26 August 2006
  • Summary: It would be NICE if NewEgg or even Shuttle for that matter, spec'd the full power supply info
  • Pros: Nice compact system
  • Cons: The power supply, while 400 watts, only puts out at 17 amps @ 12 volts, which IS NOT ENOUGH POWER for some PCI-e video cards - especially the eVGA 256-P2-N584-AR Geforce 7900GT that I BOUGHT WITH THIS SYSTEM. Check your specs!
