The Shuttle SG31G2 Silver (Glamor Series) is a Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo, Dual-Core, Celeron 400 serial support form factor with 800/1066/1333 MHz support FSB with Intel G31 + ICH7 chipset. It has 2 x 240 pin DDR2 DIMM slots, 2GB per DIMM (Max 4GB) memory with DDR2 667/800 dual channel. Its display is a VGA built-in Intel GMA 3100 256bit 3D engine with a 400MHz core and DirectX 9.0 support by Dynamic Video Memory Technology 3.0 up to 384MB of video memory and Realtek ALC888 audio support, 7.1 channel High Definition Audio with Digital S/PDIF in/out. Connectivity is via Marvell 88E8056 ethernet with IEEE 802.3u 100Base-T specification revision 1.0 at 100Mb/s and 1Gb/s operation on Wake-On-LAN function. The unit has IEEE1394 (FireWire) TI TSB43AB22A that complise with 1394 OHCI specification revision 1.0 which supports up to 400Mb/s, 200Mb/s, 100Mb/s transfer rate. Its storage interface is 3 x 3.0Gb/s bandwidth SATA II, 1 x Ultra DMA/100 IDE channel and 1 x Floppy. The unit measures 300 x 200 x 185 mm and requires a power input of 250W at 100-240V AC.

The Shuttle XPC Glamor SG31G2 is designed based on Intel® G31 Express Chipset supporting the 45nm Intel® Core™ 2 multi-core processors. It features the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 with Intel® Clear Video Technology with integrated 7.1 channel high definition audio. Storage transfer is via high speed SATA 3Gb/s, and features low noise and ultra cool ICE 2 (Integrated Cooling Engine 2) Technology. The Intel® 45nm Processor has twice the density of Intel® 65nm technology with double the amount of transistors on the same silicon space for improved speeds and reduced leakages. This unit supports the latest Intel® Core™ 2 Multi-core Processors - Intel® Core™ 2 Quad) with four execution cores and Intel® Core™ 2 Duo. Other features are 7.1 Channel HD Surround Sound Audio, Windows Aero™ 3D visual interface, Windows® Vista™ Premium and Integrated Cooling Engine 2 (ICE 2) which uses convection cooling to dissipate heat away from and around the CPU. Copper tubes coated in nickel for tube hardness and rust-proof protection are filled with distilled water abd channels heat away. This unit also features Dual View Technology for multiple displays on two separate monitors.
