Summary: We use these to custom software we develop...makes it convenient to hand out a preconfigured and ready to go appliance that isn't much bigger than an AppleTV. On the positive side, we like the fairly small form factor and the low cost. These devices aren't much more expensive than a phone or tablet, and yet you get a full Intel X86-64 architecture that runs everything from Windows to Linux apps. They're small, quiet, self-contained and easy to network.
Summary: I really love this little thing. Working great. Advice: first thing to do when you receive it : DO A BIOS update . I did have alot of problems with memory, ssd and usb compatibility, after the update all was solve and the install of the os is going easy. I am running a bluetooth mice and a bluetooth keyboard with it.
Summary: I wanted something that had the mem and a drive already included (didn't want to dink around with getting the mem and a drive and installing them, though would not have been hard) and at a reasonable price, this fit the bill. Came in a flash, worked fine, and the hardware is a work of art, solid aluminum case i think, runs cool, plays hefty videos (use is a my HTPC, 8GB 1080p videos), a bios that is like none i have ever seen...
Summary: The size and form factor is great. I used this without a screen and keyboard, as an appliance, and the device looks the part. Unfortunately, the BIOS is an abomination. I cannot believe this was made by Intel. I've flashed upgrades, changed fan settings and what not to just get it to boot an SSD. And I pretty much gave up on booting more than half of my USB drives which boot just fine on other computers. The BIOS locks up quite often too... It's buggy. Quite a bit.
Cons: Slechte BIOS out of the box, Slechts 1 USB 3.0 poort, Wat lastig aansluiten op een geluidssysteem zonder extra apparatuur
