Summary: It worked great on the bar-codes that it read, but on the ones it didn't hit first time, distance, angle, or timing changes made no difference. These were all the same format labels, code, and flat boxes. The only visible difference being clear packing tape over the failed codes. Other than that it looks like a reasonable unit. Had to return for exchange to a more reliable reader.
Summary: This is a very delicate scanner. It stopped working after 2 weeks of moderate use.It also was a touch scanner in that you needed to place the scanner right on the barcode surface. This actually would help with scanning errors.
Summary: This scanner works okay. It sometimes takes 9 times to get it to scan. You need software also if you want to do inventory. Not as great of a product as I had hoped it would be for the money spent.
Summary: I picked this scanner up as a corded backup for my wireless scanner. Product arrived on time, box was a little banged up but the scanner itself was in perfect condition. I pretty much hooked this thing into the PC and it began scanning immediately. To date we have had absolutely no issues and for the price we are certainly happy with our purchase. This is now my second Wasp scanner and can't say enough good things about our experience so far.
Summary: What a great product. Plugged in between pc and keyboard and I've setup all of my inventory quickly and efficiently. No moving parts, tough as nails and very accurate and fast. Great deal for the price!
Summary: I like he product because it was simple to setup, and does exactly what I need it to do, which is enter serial numbers. I have bar coded serial numbers I collect in Microsoft Access data base for warranty repairs. Works great!
Pros: Easy setup, As soon as I got the scanner connected, I was able to scan my bar codes. The manual was easy to follow as well.
