Stopped working after 2 weeks

Mark R. Anderson, Amazon
3 September 2013
  • Summary: This is a very delicate scanner. It stopped working after 2 weeks of moderate use.It also was a touch scanner in that you needed to place the scanner right on the barcode surface. This actually would help with scanning errors.

JamesJ, Amazon
9 October 2012
  • Summary: I picked this scanner up as a corded backup for my wireless scanner. Product arrived on time, box was a little banged up but the scanner itself was in perfect condition. I pretty much hooked this thing into the PC and it began scanning immediately.

  • Summary: It's great to have such a reliable source for computer peripherals.
  • Pros: Just like the last time....order it one day, receive it the next. Plug it in, go to work. This is our third, could not be more satisfied
  • Cons: Huh?

  • Pros: As was said twice already, the only install instructions are plug it in and start using it. Changing settings is very easy.
  • Cons: none

Wasp Barcode Scanner

John T., Newegg

  • Pros: Works great and is durable. Use this scanner at work and it gets dropped from time to time and keeps on ticking. We have several that are used for scanning inventory and bills. Scanning into and Office document works well.
  • Cons: After scanning it automatically hits the "enter" key and that is not configurable. We have software that we require tab to move to the next field.

  • Summary: Ordered from Newegg on Wednesday, arrived on our doorstep on Thursday, in perfect condition. We are very pleased with the purchases we have made at Newegg.

We use BarCode39 book labels and library cards. This product worked right out of the box, and has ever since. If adjustment is needed, turn to t...

Wasp Barcode Scanner 3900

Anonymous, Newegg
25 May 2008
  • Summary: newegg.com has outstanding service. Ordered it on Tuesday, received it Wednesday, put in service in our library on Thursday. End of story. Of course, it helps that we live just 80 miles from the supplier for this particular item.
  • Pros: This product is a nominee for the "Most Robust Peripheral" award. The total installation instruction is, "Plug it in." We did, it works right out of the box, no fiddlin' or fussin'. To change any number of parameters (we didn't need to), you simply scan the appropriate barcode in the manual suppl...
  • Cons: Should have ordered it a long time ago.
