Worked Like a Charm

Delaware S., Newegg
13 November 2015
  • Summary: Make sure you know what you need for your Point Of Sale software - there are many connection types available.
  • Pros: first one DOA, but in Newegg style - quick RMA and I ordered another one that day. Got it the next day and it worked 'out-of-the-box' no drivers needed for windows 7 pro. Out of 200 purchased, only one DOA - that is a great number.
  • Cons: none, and I have years of experience working with this manufactures Point Of Sale products.

Honeywell Scanner

Ward L., Staples
19 September 2015
  • Summary: Scanner works very well, but it was not clear that it comes with no cord. Must be purchased separately.

Good Hands-Free Scanner

Tamara R., Newegg
28 November 2007
  • Summary: Newegg rocks as usual
  • Pros: Scans well at a fixed range of 6-12 inches from scanner, tilt function, and multiple scan lines. Great for Point-of-Sale implementation. Huge number of configurations with programming codes included in a well doc
  • Cons: Bulky to pickup and use as a handheld scanner. Due to high number of scanning lines, may shine in eyes if not adjusted properly.
