The bag serves its purpose but is very unwieldy

Summary: I bought this bag to carry my laptop to and fro from office and since it provides an extra large pocket, it lets me carry a few other items as well. The shoulder straps have nice cushion built into them. The bag serves these main goals. However, it is pretty ungainly. I use NYC subway to get to office and you cannot easily keep this bag in your lap.
Summary: Good bag. My own did not include the phone pouch as advertised on Amazon. I usually have difficulty getting my Toshiba P25-S509 to fit into the bag. I have a feeling the zip of my bag won't last because of the strain I exert on the zip to get my Toshiba to fit in.
Summary: It fits my 17" notebook, that's good. It seems a little small at first in that you have to really work to get it back out of the bag, but it gets better. I was a little disappointed with the actual space in the bag though. Can't really fit more than 2 textbooks in with the laptop.
Summary: If one is willing to shell out a fair amount of moola for a laptop computer, then one, it reasons, should also be willing to do the same for the carrying case that will be housing it while being transported, yes? The main question that arises is whether that case should be one that looks like a carrying case or a casual backpack.
