Excerpt: The Surf steers really well and is great looking, I have it in pink and it's striking. Folds well but handle seems a tad flimsy. The shopping basket is fine if your only purchase is a newspaper. My little 6month old seems happy and comfy in it, however my advise is don't bother purchasing the Moses basket extra attachment I found it a waste of money as the actual pram can recline fully flat and is basically the same.
Excerpt: I have the surf in lime and it attracts attention and comments on how nice it looks. My friends call me pram queen as i have had so many different prams with my 2! There are pro's and cons.. Pro's are it is really easy to fold down. I can do it one handed. It is compact in the boot. The Lie down bit with the baby nest is so comfy for my son he falls asleep within minutes! The raincover is easy to fit on. The carseat snug and sunshade are fab.
Excerpt: I was invited to try out the Surf Elevation by Silver Cross with my newborn. The steering is brilliant - very easy to manoeuvre and, so importantly, it's really easy to fold and does fold down very flat which is good for boot space etc. The handle height is very easy to adjust. Great for swapping between me and OH (and also my 5 year old who likes to push), but also helps get the pushchair into tight spots in small shops etc.
Excerpt: I've had the pushchair for 9 months now. Positives: it is very easy to steer, fold, seat is easy to clip in forwards or backwards, the car seat fits in easily (we have maxicosi and adaptors). It looks nice and is nice to push, the handle adjusts. Negatives: The basket is very small and the raincover is bulky when folded and takes up a lot of the storage space.

Excerpt: I've had this since my baby was newborn and have been very pleased with it. It's had a lot of use and after 6 months still looks like new. The baby nest looked comfy, although it didn't last as long as I thought it would (had to stop using it when he was around 12 weeks). The seat unit is roomy and easy to recline. After mastering the knack of the fold, it is very easy to fold and put up again.
Excerpt: This is a really good system- easy to fold and with the newborn snug, your pfb will have a very comfortable experience! The front wheel is a bit wobbly sometimes- but when I bought mine I was told it has a lifetime warranty. The baskets are a bit rubbish- but the front one perfectly holds four cans of beer! Also is easy to clip the carseat on. It's a good bit cheaper than the iCandy too.
" Easy to fold and looks good. Comes with everything you need.… "

Excerpt: Had the Surf for 11 months (used from birth) and walk on average 6 miles a day doing the school run on footpaths/pavements and it's still going strong. It's easy to fold and push and looks good. Very simple to swap over from rear to front facing which means I can chat away to my DS when we're out. I have also bought the cosy toes for the colder weather which was easy to attach and kept DS as snug as a bug!
Excerpt: after reading other reviews of this pram im wondering if we all have the same pushchair?! its so difficult to put down i am worried about being stuck in a carpark unable to put it down! ok so it is my fault for buying a pushchair online without trying first but it looked so gorgeous my heart took over mind in this case! i went to mothercare to try and put it down in there and its just as difficult so i know i havent brought a dud one.
Silver Cross Surf: cosy for baby... easy for mummy

Summary: This is a gorgeous pram but is on the expensive side the rrp is around £500, for that price you get: #the chassis #seat unit #cosy toes #raincover #sun parasol #seat liner I'm not sure whether the lobster pot shopping basket comes in that price as I didn't buy my pram from a high street shop. You can purchase extras for this pram such as a: #carry cot rrp £160 #lobster pot shopping basket rrp £30 #snug (like a sleeping bag..looks very cosy...this is my next purchase!
Pros: gorgeous, snug, easy to put up and down, option to keep baby facing you
Cons: bulky seat unit, need to buy lots of extras after an initial big payout, minimal storage space
