Excellent Value - Strong but Nimble

Tash the Hard Working Mum, kiddicare.com
26 June 2012
  • Summary: On a visit to Kiddicare we tried several double buggies and decided that a Tandum would be best for us so that the new baby could be reclined to almost horizontal whilst our older child could jump into the front when her little legs got tiered. We also felt the for us a Tandum is better for going around town and shops being the same width as a normal single buggie and a double buggie is hard to use in a clothes shop for example.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Good Value, Quality Construction, Well Balanced
  • Cons: Bulky

Too heavy and bulky

Kimi, kiddicare.com
20 May 2012
  • Summary: I bought this tandem buggie specifically for a weeks holiday to Eurodisney, so already having 2 other single pushchairs I didn't want to spend a lot on a third. The reviews were overall good so I thought I would give it a go.<br />When put together (which itself is pretty easy to do) it was longer than I thought it would be and larger than expected. When folded down which we would need to do whilst travelling it was bulky, heavy and very hard to try and manoeuvre.
  • Pros: Does the job, Good Value
  • Cons: Bulky, Heavy when folded

  • Summary: Has 2 red buttons on handle to collapse down along with metal plate on right back wheel leg. Long bar for brake. Can lock the front wheels to go in one direction or unlock to allow wheels to swivel, red plastic lock on front wheels. Great size basket. Back and front seats have foot plates. Foot cosy with both back and front seats. When collapsed down is quite compact. Back seat doesn't lay down as much as we expected, but still great item.
