Lovely and lightweight

  • Excerpt: I haven't yet used this as baby isn't here yet. But it's so light it's unbelievable. It's very compact as well so no matter what size car it goes into it won't take up much room. Instructions where very clear on how to get it set up also.
  • Pros: Easy Setup, Lightweight, Portable

I would recommend this product

  • Excerpt: This pushchair is great once you get the hang of collapsing it and putting it back up. There is a sequence of about 5 things to use it. I would say useless for someone like a grandparent to borrow coz they would never remember the sequence to get it up and down.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Convenient, Lightweight, Portable
  • Cons: Difficult To Set Up

A great small, compact lightweight buggy.

  • Summary: This is ideal for using about town and on school runs. It is small and sturdy.
  • Pros: I like that is both parent and forward facing. It is important that I can communicte easily when we are out. It is known to improve speech. I love the accessories especially the footmuff - it has to be the cosiest on the market.
  • Cons: The basket is quite small I would prefer it to be deeper.

Great looking and light weight!

EllieA, Made for Mums
27 December 2010
  • Summary: The Zapp Xtra is really light weight which is great when you have to get it in and out of the car a lot and to push it is very easy. It looks really good too and can be used both parent facing and outward facing which is perfect as your child gets older. Can be used from birth with the Maxi Cosi car seat or the seat unit included. Great for popping to the shops with as very easy to maneuvre (as long as you have both hands free).
  • Pros: Light weight and easy to push, looks really good and is suitable from birth.
  • Cons: Two part system means you have to take apart to get in and out of car. Handle hight is quite low which is not great for taller parents. Not much storage space in the basket. Not very easy to steer with one hand.

Good looking, nippy and easy to use

Leanne1982, Made for Mums
27 December 2010
  • Summary: First of all I should say how easy it was to put together - I was amazed. Second of all it was so easy to learn how to fold it it down and put it up again. I know what its like to be stuck somewhere with a new pram and have no way of folding it down so you can go home - major panic - but there was no of that with the Zapp Xtra. I'll be honest when I first started to use it I couldn't get used to it.
  • Pros: Small, Easy to put together, Compact, Fits Maxi Cosi seat, Raincover included, Car Seat adaptors included, Front or Rear facing,
  • Cons: Small basket, Handles aren't adjustable

Great for mamas on the move who love to look at their babies!

Hailey Thomson, Made for Mums
17 December 2010
  • Summary: Overall I really like this buggy. I have a large pram and I find that hard to get around with. the Quinny Zapp was the answer to all my buggy prayers! I needed a lightweight, parent-facing, reclining buggy and boom, Quinny invented one! I do find it hard to push with one hand now that I am a multi-tasking new mama! I love that that the buggy is a nippy little buggy for going into town, but where are you supposed to put all that shopping from going into town?
  • Pros: - Lightweight - Stylish - Parent Facing - Reclining
  • Cons: - Can't push with one hand - Small shopping basket - two part fold - hard to get up and down off curbs

Quinny Zapp Xtra a great all rounder

sugarkane, Made for Mums
7 December 2010
  • Summary: Overall I just love the compact, lightweight and maneuverable Quinny Zapp Xtra, yes some can say that the two unit is a downfall but for me the rear or forward facing reclining seat far out shines its downfalls. If your looking for a light weight and compact travel system/pushchair for around the shops and town the Quinny Zapp Xtra really fits the bill.
  • Pros: A very light weight travel system which is able to accommodate children from birth to 15kg Extremely compact and fits into a small boot with ease Smooth and easy one handed folding Maneuverable with one hand Great urban travel system Rear and forward facing Large hood for extra sun protection
  • Cons: The Xtra has a small basket and as a result of its light weight frame is unable to carry shopping on the handles. Unlike its predecessor the Quinny Zapp the Zapp Xtra is now a two unit pushchair. The handles are fixed therefore you cant adjust them to accommodate a taller parent.

A compact, lightweight buggy that is also stylish.

Emma Bradley 2, Made for Mums
6 December 2010
  • Summary: The Quinny Xtra is the latest model from Quinny and comes in Rebel Red or Rocking Black. I choose the black as it goes with everything. I am really glad I choose black as I have now bought a fantastic orange and pink footmuff, which looks amazing! The Xtra is amazing as it has a reversible seat - I love having Erin facing me, as at aged just one, she still finds me as the best thing to look at!! The buggy is suitable from birth with its lie flat feature.
  • Pros: The seat is reversible which means Erin can be forward or rear facing. The buggy is really compact which is ideal for the car. The brake system is easy, one pedal for stop one for go! This is so comfy - first buggy Erin has slept in.
  • Cons: The seat has to be taken off to colapse buggy which I imagine is a pain on public transport.
