Made for Mums
29 May 2014
  • Excerpt: Founded in 1950 by Nicolaas Quint, Quinny started as a trading company for small baby products in The Hague The Netherlands. Today, Quinny is all about urban life and multicultural living. Often at the cutting edge of design, in 2009 Quinny’s black and white edition hit the streets where Quinny was the first offering all-black strollers. Quinny’s natural habitat is the city but this all terrain pushchair was designed to take the stress out of city life and beyond.
  • Pros: Swivel and all-terrain front wheels, one-handed fold-away and automatic unfold action, front and rear facing seat, height adjustable push bar, Maxi Cosi car seat and Quinny carrycot compatible
  • Cons: Tricky to fit through narrow shop doorways and difficult to manoeuvre on a bus

Made for Mums
29 January 2010
  • Conclusion: This buggy’s great if you walk a lot – it’s comfy for your child, easy to push, and the wheels are big and manoeuvrable. It’s bulky to get into your car boot, and you may even have to take the wheels off to do so. If you don’t mind spending money on extras, such as the carrycot, you’ll end up with a pram that’s perfect for newborns, and will still look great when your child is a toddler.
  • Pros: Looks fantastic, feels sturdy, seat is comfy and can face both ways, You can pop the rear wheels off pretty easily to get the Quinny Buzz into a small boot – I don’t have any trouble with my Polo, although I have had to take the back shelf out. The brake, a small pedal on the back bar, is excellent and very easy to use. It’s amazingly plush and comfy, and my baby seemed really happy to snuggle down in the seat and have a snooze. It now comes with a choice of two seat ...
  • Cons: Bulky, even when folded, expensive, While I found this fantastic – it literally springs to life – it’s pretty tough to fold. My hands are small so holding down the buttons and pushing/pulling at the same time is a tricky manoeuvre. My first outing with my baby ended with me in tears in a supermarket car park as I couldn’t get it down to get back in the car! You also have to be very careful to fasten it with the clip when it’s folded or it will unfold itself in the boo...

Key FeaturesStroller TypeJogger StructureFrame MaterialAluminium Miscellane... This is our fourth boy and since there was a 6 year gap between the 3rd and this baby, we where not sure if we wanted to “shell out” for an expensive Euro-stroller. We have owned Aprica and Peg Peregos in the past. But we are sure glad we invested in this unique stroller.

2005 Quinny Buzz

Strollers and Prams
29 August 2013
  • Summary: Overall the Buzz is a good quality pram that looks stylish and manoeuvres well. The large back wheels and rear suspension handle rough terrain and even steps with ease while the front swivel wheel allows the Buzz to glide around on even ground. The seat, harness and hood are functional and the compact fold and gas lift unfold make the Buzz practical to use every day.
  • Pros: Large comfortable seat unit, Great steering and manoeuvrability, Excellent suspension on rear wheels, Can be folded in one piece, Nice compact fold, One handed gas lift unfold mechanism
  • Cons: Seat unit does not sit upright when facing you, Seat adjust/remove buttons extremely stiff to push, Seat needs to be facing out and in upright position in order to fold pram with seat unit attached., Fold buttons also very stiff., Some effort needed to 'push' pram into folded position., Storage (Buzz Box) small and gets in the way of legs when walking, Wide wheel base, Suspension not so great on front wheel., Hood has strange adjust mechanism.
