Summary: At first I loved this buggy yeah it has some flaws but dont all double buggies. The weight of my children was poorly distributed when used as a newborn and toddler combo causing alot of strain getting up curbs(not good just after giving birth)This had plenty of room for my broad shouldered children and they seemed to like it. Now my baby is in the doubles kit underneath and i noticed that the kit has started to split at the seams and stitching has come undone!!!
Summary: I was really pleased with the base bag, much better than lugging round the huge change bag I'd been using which took up loads of room in the basket under the pushchair. My only critisicm is that the bag does not seem to clip or tie onto the pushchair, it effectively just hangs over the back axel, so in theory someone could swipe it off the pushchair very quickly and easily! So, not very secure!
Summary: Vibe base bag is an essential bit of storage. We've put the puncture repair kit in one side which isn't very easy to access. On the other, we've managed to get the double rain cover - fantastic. The base bag is fab and really glad we bought it.<br />Why aren't P&T getting some other user friendly storage solutions for the Vibe?
Summary: We have the P&T VIbe and have two kids a two year old and a 9 week old baby, my 2 year old is still not potty trained as yet so we have to carry double the amount of nappies it was a real pain not being able to put the bag on the pushchair. Surprisingly the base bag fits a lot in change of clothes for both kids nappies, wipes, small changing mat so now I don't have to carry a bag as well as push the pushchair its proved very useful!
Summary: This is great for storing things in that you dont need to get at often- ie the rain cover- but is difficult to access with both seats on. Wouldnt be suitable to use for storing changing items or toys due to access! I like having it to put the rain cover in tho as it free's room up in the shopping basket!
Phil & Teds Vibe: A versatile but expensive double stroller
7 August 2012
Summary: Having just decided to get rid of my Phil & Ted Vibe uptown stroller, I decided I have enough to say about the double pushchair and so I thought I should share my opinion. There is only 2 years difference between my two daughters so when my second daughter came along I knew I would need some kind of double pushchair. After a visit to Mothercare it was obvious that the only option was the Phil & Ted.
Pros: Versatile, good quality, easy to fold and transport
Excerpt: The vibe was amazing when i first had my n/b dd and 11mnth ds, however now they are nearly 1 and 2 years old it is very heavy to push and steer,It is heavy when lifting into the boot of a car and takes up a lot of space no good if you have a small car!!! Have now bought a mclaren techno twin for going out on walks!! However will keep the vibe for shopping as it is great for getting thru shop doorways, aisles!
Summary: I have found the Phil & Teds Vibe to be a good purchase. It is a sturdy and good looking pushchair. It is extremely easy to put up and down and although fairly heavy, it is still easy to lift in and out of the car. This push chair is extremely maneuverable and light on steering. The seat of the push chair can be adjusted in two separate ways, by zip and to release it further using the strap at the back, meaning your child can lay completely flat.
Pros: Super easy to maneuver, great storage size under the pushchair as well
Cons: Beware of the brake - easy to hit by accident, meaning the push chair stops abruptly!
