Excerpt: The latest release from inline pushchair creator Phil and Teds is the Promenade. Designed for urban use, rather than off-road, this single or tandem buggy can act as a travel system for one and while it isn’t a cheap option, it does give you choices.
Pros: Can convert from single to double buggy by purchasing doubles kit, can have car seat and optional lower seat attached at same time, pushchair seats convert to lie-flat carrycots, choice of compatible car seats, handles well
Excerpt: The new Phil and Teds Promenade is a classy looking pushchair that cleverly adapts from a single to an inline tandem, suitable for siblings or twins, even from birth. For urban use, not off road, this convertible buggy has a lot on offer.
Pros: Great design, can convert back to a single buggy, very well made, can carry newborn twins, inline set-up means easy to access doorways, no need for separate carrycots
Cons: Tall, big to store, feels heavy when fully loaded
Summary: The Promenade is a beautiful sleek pram with an amazing curve through the chassis that is unique to this particular pram. I was disappointed with how heavy-handed I needed to be to push the pram on all surfaces, particularly surprised that it was still quite heavy on a smooth surface.
Pros: Doubles Kit, Huge basket space, Sleeper bed option is brilliant
Cons: Heavy to push, Rear-seat adaptors are fiddly, Not enough height adjustability on handle
