Very useful add-on
8 December 2014
Excerpt: I bought the double kit when I had my second baby, my first was 19 months old. It's very useful and convenient. My only criticism is that when my 19 month old sleeps, his head falls forward then ends up leaning on a metal part of the hood.
Excerpt: I have 2 young children - 1 toddler and 1 baby and this stroller is the best I have found (and I have tried a lot of them!). I live in an area with very bumpy sidewalks and the stroller gets lots of use over this and other rough ground (e.g. parks, etc.) The air-filled tires, on a stroller that converts to a double, is a huge plus. Also, since the kids ride in tandem and on an angle to one another, it's completely manageable size-wise.
Excerpt: As soon as I found out I was pregnant (again, so soon), we began the search for a double stroller. I did not want one of those huge side-by-side strollers (I found them to be onerous and difficult to balance weight ratios). After looking at many strollers, we finally found the Phil & Ted's stroller and purchased it. It is awesome! We used the baby bassinett for the first four months with the second seat on top and then put the second seat on bottom.
Summary: I am a nanny to two beautiful children, both under 3 years, so I needed a good buggy! Before starting the job I had seen this push chair being used and I thought it was a bit harsh for the child in the bottom seat, however, this push chair has been a life saver and the child in the bottom doesn't seem to mind being there! It's an easy to push, great for shopping, great for walks in the village and even great through muddy fields push chair.
Pros: Big shopping basket, easy to push and move around shops, smooth ride (I'd imagine) easy to fold up, brilliant buy!
I love this buggy! Could not have left the house withouth it when my second child was born.

Summary: Fantastic buggy that made it so easy to go out and about with two young children. I would recomend it to anyone! It's easy to use and I think it looks great.
Pros: It's so slim that it really feels like a single buggy, so never have any issues in shops, busses etc. It's easy to stear, looks good and the kids fit nicely in the seat. I also think it folds surprisingly small for a doubble.
Cons: I find it slightly tricky to fold, but only because I do it so rearly. Also the space for lying flat is not the biggest so we had to put the baby sitting up quite early (we have a tall baby!)
Summary: if i had known all of this before i bought it would not hve done so
Pros: it looks smart
Cons: it is heavy, baby only faces mum if in car seat or peanut(which is tiny)i am expecting a new frame from PnTs as there are probs with brakes and a kit for the hood as it falls off when you fold the pushchair up. These are apparently common problems!
