Pliko P3 Stroller: Easy to steer, but difficult to collapse.
11 April 2011
Excerpt: I've used this stroller for the past year and 2 months, and overall it has worked well. I bought this product for the ease of steering and the light weight frame. I took one star off for the difficulty of collapsing the stroller. I've strained my back and hurt my wrists on several occasions trying to collapse this contraption. I also took one star off for the bad quality of the breaks. In addition, the basket holds very little and there is only one clip-on cup holder.
Good lightweight stroller for families on the go, but with flaws

Excerpt: The weight/size if this stroller makes it good for families on the go. It is lightweight, and folds nicely without too much hassle. It's sturdy and spacious, unlike a flimsy umbrella stroller, but still folds and stores more nicely than other strollers I've had in the past. I especially like that the snack/drink tray is detachable making it optional. I'm not so much a fan of the harness/buckle system.
Excerpt: Before my son was born, I researched and researched my stroller selection, eventually decided on the Peg Perego Pliko P3 MT. First, there are several things I like about it. I love that the seat can recline all the way down. It's very handy for transporting a baby who falls asleep en route. I also love that the canopy extends all the way down when in a seat position. That's great for keeping sun and wind out of baby's face.
Excerpt: We were given this peg perego stroller as a baby shower gift even though I had registered for a different, less expensive stroller. Since the brand is so highly recommended, I decided against exchanging it and tried to give it a go. My son is eightteen months old, and I still have not figured how to open and close the stroller. My husband has to do it for me, and it is very frustrating for me on the whole.
The Peg Perego Pliko isn't a bad stroller, but not worth the $$$

Excerpt: When my first daughter was born in 2007, we invested in the Peg Perego Pliko along with the coordinating infnt car seat. It was a well thought out purchase at the time, but I admit to being caught in the brand name frenzy. While this stroller hasn't been bad, I wouldn't purchase it again and I probably wouldn't recommend it to a friend unless it was available at half the cost or less!
Excerpt: I bought this stroller at a higher end baby store and was told that it would be great for my firstborn because it would easily last through several children. I unfortunately did not find this to be true. While the colors are great, and some of the features such as the recline and tray table are nice, I feel that the quality did not live up to the name and expectations with it.
Loved it at first, but then got difficult to maneuver

Excerpt: For the first year and a half of using this stroller, I loved it. The full shade cover was perfect for keeping the sun out of my son's eyes - it could be moved to cover almost the entire seat. The tray was great for snacks, although the cup holder was a little small for holding a sippy cup. The basket underneath is hard to access from the back of the stroller, but if you put things in from the side, it worked just fine.
Excerpt: We were given this stroller before the birth of our daugher 2 years ago. In the past two years, we have used this stroller a lot. It is very padded and comfortable for our daughter, and I like that the umbrella hood folds down over her if we are running in and out of places in the rain. I feel that she is safe and secure in this stroller, and she rides very comfortably even on long walks. The one drawback to this stroller is the storage compartment beneath.
The Ferrari of strollers, stylish but impractical.

Summary: We fell in love with the looks of this stroller, and truth be told it is a very attractive stroller. We get lots of compliments, and expectant mothers point and say, "Thats the one I want." Good points: Stroller is nice to look at. Attracts envious looks holds a lot of weight on the handles without tipping.
