OBaby Zezu Pramette & Infant Car Seat: Good value for money, some clever features, not quite good e ...
Summary: I have had the Obaby Zezu Pramette and car seat for about 18 months now. I think it is the cheapest travel system of its type - it is very good value for money. The car seat is a fairly standard Stage 0 car seat that fits onto the base. It uses the car seat belt to fit into the car, not isofix. It can be a little fiddly at first to fit, but soon becomes quite quick. The pramette converts from a completely flat pram (with newborn liner) into a pushchair.
Pros: All in one pushchair/pram - no need for separate carry cot
Summary: After deciding that I liked a pram with chunky air filled wheels, the Zezu appeared on the back cover of a magazine I was reading, so voila off I went to see one, which I ended up purchasing. We bought the all black for £170 at the time ( about a year later the prices had rocketed! ) Chose not to buy the car seat as I wanted a Maxi Cosi one. I loved the fact that this pram changed from carrycot unit to pushchair when needed. It came with a padded liner to lay in there.
Pros: Carrycot and pushchair in one. Air filled tyres for comfort.
OBaby Zezu Pramette & Infant Car Seat: fab travel system
10 September 2013
Summary: I had the obaby zezu for my little girl in green :). I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. I love the fact that you could just clip the infant car seat on to the wheels and off you go. Thought it was fab how you could have your baby facing you and looking the other way which my little girl loved as she loved it that she could see who was pushing her.
Pros: easy to assemble, pack away ,stylish and smooth.
Summary: We have the Obaby Zezu in Dotty Purple and I love it, we don't however have any experience with the pushchair as a travel system so I won't be commenting on that. It's a very smooth ride, the large air filled back wheels really contribute to the smoothness, it's easy to steer and folds up easily. The only problem I have found is that it is quite heavy to carry when folded, and is quite bulky and so will take up most of the boot space in a small car.
Summary: The dotty editon as stated in the description is not the one in the picture - the dotty one has big dots in the inside of hood and on the harness and on the raincover, so not sure if the picture is wrong or the description is wrong.
Pros: Nice to push, enough room, easy to assemble, great quality., Couldn't find any.
OBaby Zezu Pramette & Infant Car Seat: Obaby Zezu Pramette - a Comfy Workhorse Pram
6 April 2013
Summary: Before I get too in depth with my personal review - I would like to point out that it is for the pushchair/pramette ONLY. I have no experience of using this as a travel system with a car seat. The Obaby Zezu pramette is a stylish low budget system where the top unit can easily be switched between a pram and pushchair by simply adjusting a few straps.
Pros: Sturdy, durable, good suspension, comfy for baby
