Summary: I was convinced after many months of searching for the best double stroller to get the mountain buggy from friend. I am very regretful of this decision since the stroller from day one never kept air in the tires. So I contacted the company and their response was to replace the inner tubes.
Summary: We bought the 2009 urban duo and completely have buyers remorse. I researched for a long time and I seemed that this would be the perfect double stroller for my kids but it's so heavy that I can barely get it in/out of my car ( I have a large suv). Because of this I'm always reluctant to take it anywhere. Also, the seatbelts are impossible to adjust from the seat back unless you have really long arms and a high pain tolerance to deal w/ the scratches.
Excerpt: Purchased this duet buggy for our newborn baby and eleven month old baby after extensive research. We also purchased one carrycot. Initially we were very impressed with the design of the buggy and the narrowness. We started using the buggy in the summer months and it was ok to start with.
Summary: These tyres do not fit the rim of the mountain buggy duet to the extent that they make the whole pushing experience a nightmare with 2 in the pram - the purpose of the pram is for ease of pushing but these tyres make it really difficult to manoeuvre and keep coming off the rim when inflated - I'm not sure how the other reviewer managed to get them perfect but they must be a greater miracle maker than me!
