Fantastic buy for parents of two small children who need to use public transport and prefer side by side.

Eleanor Weir, Made for Mums

 • Summary: Overall I am very pleased that we decided (after much research and deliberation) on this buggy for our baby and toddler. We did not like the idea of the double decker styles and although some tandems offered more flexible seating options many reviews gave me the opinion that they can become quite difficult to push and manouvre, especially as the children grow. For us the big factor in deciding on the Duet was it's USP; it is the narrowest side by side twin buggy.
 • Pros: The width of this side by side is the biggest pro for me but there are others too: It is easy to push, can even push it one handed along the flat; the seats fully recline; the hoods have windows so you can see both children, but there are flaps if you want to cover these up; the raincover fits very well(though we had to buy this separately at extra expense); the seats have plenty of room in them for a 2.8 month boy snd even our six year old can squeeze in fairly easil...
 • Cons: Although this is a very positive review overall I have to say our Duet is currently out of use due to a dodgy front wheel and tyre. The tyre split and the wheel was falling off, also the brake started playing up, possibly as a result of the wheel issue. It is still under warranty so we will see how we get on with getting it sorted! As our baby was already two months when we bought the Duet we didn't buy the carrycot as is extra; I regret this as the seat, although ok ...

twins go anywhere

twins twice the fun, kiddicare.com
27 October 2012
 • Summary: What a system, we saw this at a baby show in Manchester and nearly got it then but didn't want to tempt fate! When we eventually got round to buying we were impressed. We got the full system ie carry cots, frames for car seats etc. Our twins are now 10 months old and the buggy is going strong with no signs of deterioration and they still fit in it well.
 • Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Manoeuvre, Easy to Set Up
 • Cons: Small Basket

 • Summary: Havent started using this pushchair yet as second baby is not due for another few weeks, but I just wanted to write a review for others looking to purchase it.
I have put it all together tonight to check its fits in my boot. (This is what I wanted to know when I was looking at reviews for it) I have an old W reg ford fiesta. It fits in with one wheel off and the top board for the boot taken off.

Fantastic buggy

 • Summary: Really pleased, buggy looks great and is so easy to push and fits through all internal doors in our house. Doesn't seem too heavy to lift and looks very smart. I've brought 2 carry cots and 2 car seat adaptors- will swap between these until babies are about 6 months when I will put the seats back on- you have to popper them on so wouldn't be quick to keep changing with those.
 • Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easily Stowed, Easy To Manoeuvre, Smooth Ride

This does the job well!

Mum of three, kiddicare.com
28 August 2012
 • Summary: I've been using this pushchair for seven weeks now but I have no complaints. It steers well even with one hand, it is sturdy even with the car seats on the top. My only difficulty is that it doesn't fit in standard door ways with the car seats on and I have to forward plan where I'm going to ensure I will fit. Popping to the corner shop to buy milk is a no no unless I have someone to wait outside with the pushchair.
 • Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Clean, Easy To Use, Good Value, Quality Construction
 • Cons: Bulky, Heavy

i LOVE my mountain buggy duet!

mountainbuggyno1fan!, kiddicare.com
18 August 2012
 • Summary: Absolutely brilliant pushchair, allowing you to have an easy to manouver and practical side by side pushchair. My eldest loves to be able to check on his sibling next to him and will be great as they get older too! I think that the wheel to wheel width = smallest on current market for side by sides, though please note that the top part of the buggy is wider than the wheel base (it can still do what is advertised though and fits through all of my interior doors at home so...

Impressed

 • Summary: I was worried about changing to a side-by-side buggy for my 1 year old twins because it wouldn't fit through doors, but I have not had any issues and I live in a flat and have to take a lift and go through 4 doors to get out.

The only down side would be the size when collapsed (check it will fit in your car's boot) but because there are no parts to remove it's real quick to collapse/un-collapse, and since this the only negative i've encountered i think it is...

Fab buggy

Mum to two boys, kiddicare.com
8 June 2012
 • Summary: Great narrow twin buggy, it fits though my front door and internal doors. I haven't yet found a doorway that I'm unable to get through. My toddler loves riding next to his baby brother and both boys look very comfortable in the buggy. The buggy is very easy to put together, it is easy to steer and push and it folds very quickly and easily.

The buggy fairly heavy to lift and carry when folded and is quite big when folded.

perfect for keeping babies out the sun

twinnymum, kiddicare.com
28 May 2012
 • Summary: I ordered this during the current spell of hot weather. The Uv protection is high so babies are protected. It's pretty dark for them in the buggy but at least they're less likely to burn. If I had any complaint it would be that it's a shame it has to be black. Ide also like it to unzip from the top down. Overall tho a great product. Excellent service from kiddicare. Item delivered less than 48 hours after ordering.
 • Pros: Durable, Easy to Set Up, Lightweight, Practical, Washable

Love it!

14 April 2012
 • Summary: I love this pushchair, a side by side that fits through not only my front door but my internal doors too. When I first saw it I was suprised as it looks wide but it really does go through small gaps. I have used it for my twins both in the shops (the basket is a good size) and off the beaten track to walk my dog (the twins were very comfortable).

The pushchair is very practical and very easy to manoever. It was very simple to assemble when it arrived.
