Fantastic buy for parents of two small children who need to use public transport and prefer side by side.

  • Summary: Overall I am very pleased that we decided (after much research and deliberation) on this buggy for our baby and toddler. We did not like the idea of the double decker styles and although some tandems offered more flexible seating options many reviews gave me the opinion that they can become quite...
  • Pros: The width of this side by side is the biggest pro for me but there are others too: It is easy to push, can even push it one handed along the flat; the seats fully recline; the hoods have windows so you can see both children, but there are flaps if you want to cover these up; the raincover fits ve...
  • Cons: Although this is a very positive review overall I have to say our Duet is currently out of use due to a dodgy front wheel and tyre. The tyre split and the wheel was falling off, also the brake started playing up, possibly as a result of the wheel issue. It is still under warranty so we will see h...

Great, but the backrest can only be adjusted using two hands.

  • Summary: I am thrilled with this pushchair. But for me, backrests that can be adjusted using just one hand are a must, either by pulling a lever or by pushing and pulling- either way. The main thing is you just need one hand to do it, because as a mum, you don’t always have both hands free!

  • Summary: I bought this buggy as I am having twins and so far it's really good ,except it took us ages to attach carrycots on it despite instructions. Otherwise it seems very sturdy despite being a flyweight.

  • Summary: Very easy to push, even with one hand! Narrower than most twin prams, but still enough space for my one year-old love. All in all it's very practical indeed.

duo stroller by mountain buggy

Norman, JoggingStroller.com
3 March 2011
  • Summary: The Mountain Buggy is built well. It can take a lot of abuse on trails. The side to side seating is great for the kids to entertain each other on our walks, (it can be challenging to navigate down the isles in small stores where they have displays in the isle).

Flat out wrong

Anonymous, JoggingStroller.com
9 February 2011
  • Summary: I was convinced after many months of searching for the best double stroller to get the mountain buggy from friend. I am very regretful of this decision since the stroller from day one never kept air in the tires. So I contacted the company and their response was to replace the inner tubes.
