  • Conclusion: The Micralite Toro is an extremely stylish and well-designed pushchair. If it weren’t for the foot bar, it would be practically perfect.
  • Pros: Lightweight, stylish, comfortable, The Toro is not only easy to assemble, it actually made me gasp at the smoothness of the action when unfolding (I know, I need to get out more). It really is beautifully designed and is such an easy operation to both unfold and fold up again. Because my son Joe is only 3 months old, I used the carrycot, which is also easy to assemble and fit to the frame (although I did manage to put the hood on the wrong way round and then couldn't ...
  • Cons: Have to press the foot bar to lift up kerb, can be too lightweight, have to purchase carrycot or car seat to use from birth, Because it's so lightweight, I struggled to push it in strong wind. It took all my strength to keep it under control and I got home exhausted. It also felt unbalanced whenever the ground was even slightly uneven and I didn't feel particularly secure. Both I (5ft) and my husband (6ft) found we were repeatedly kicking the back wheels as we walked....

  • Excerpt: a reversible hand stroller is the Micralite Toro. There’s no doubt that this little stroller can push through the toughest terrain. Like the Cameleon, its reversible handle allow you to either have the 6” or the 12” wheels in front (bigger front wheels for tougher terrain).
