  • Summary: I purchased Micalite Fastfold travel system, which included the carry cot, it is amazing, very light weight and easy ro manuver. I use the carrycot attachment which is easy to change for my 3 month old. The folding and unfolding is easy. I have 6 children and every single one had a different stroller, If I knew then about the Micralite, I would of bought them for all.

EXCELLENT LIGHTWEIGHT BUGGY AND CARRYCOT SYSTEM

dougal1972, Made for Mums
30 March 2007
  • Summary: I bought this when I was expecting my second child and it was lovely and lightweight for pushing my first child around in during the latter stages of my pregnancy. My newborn had many hours uninterupted sleep in the carrycot. You either love them or hate them!
  • Pros: Lightweight. Easy to push and manouvere. Benefits from carrycot to use from birth with a lightweight and relatively compact buggy to use from around three months onwards. The carrycot has a good quality mattress. It still looks smart despite daily use. Easy to push one-handed with a toddler in tow.
  • Cons: Does not fold easily with cosytoe in place. Poor raincover on carrycot. You need to be aware of the stability if you are on a sloping surface and must not carry anything on the handles or on top of the hood.

DON'T BUY THIS

Claire Ward, Made for Mums
16 August 2006
  • Summary: Don't waste your money on this buggy. We had one for just over a year on the front wheel fell off whilst I was crossing the road with my 15mth old in situ. Given the design of the pushchair the whole thing collapsed and I was left struggling to get her out and both of us to the pavement. Very dangerous and i was lucky it wasn't a busy road. We wrote to complain to the company, with photos of what had happened.
  • Pros: Lightweight

AT LAST, A BUGGY LIGHT ENOUGH FOR ME!

Bernice, Made for Mums
10 January 2006
  • Summary: I like the way it folds down and doesn't take up too much space. When I have my second in February, I'll deinfitely think about getting one.
  • Pros: I had to take a friend's toddler out and I'm heavily pregnant so I really appreciated how easy this was to move around.
  • Cons: I'm used to a larger travel system, so I guess it did feel a bit easy to tip back when I was negotiating pavements.

Very Disapointed

sarah weald, Made for Mums
12 September 2005
  • Summary: Would not recommend and cannot for the life of me understand how this buggy has got so many good reviews from well known magazines etc....
  • Pros: Lightweight and compact
  • Cons: Car seat attachments have broken 3 times!! Very difficult to put car seat on the attachments, when used as buggy shoulder straps are not adjustable and are far to high so just cover over either side of childs face, impossible to recline whilst child in the buggy, won't fold up with cosy toes attached, usually have to adjust front wheels for "FastFold" action, will tip over whenever child taken out as you always need to put bags etc on handles as shopping basket diffic...

Great, easy to use, leaves boot space.

TnCCM, Tesco
5 March 2013
  • Summary: This is a great light weight buggy. It folds and reclines easily, the break is easy to operate. brilliant value for money, easier to use than a very expensive make we also have. It also fits in the car boot with space to spare. We got it to use on holiday to keep the little person cooler and now we use it all the time.

" 8 years old still brilliant…"

MrsToof, Mumsnet
7 February 2013
  • Excerpt: Completely LOVE my fast fold system, brought if for my first baby and it's a brilliant work horse of a buggy, I've been childminding for 4 years and use it almost daily the one handed push is fantastic and it's light and easy to steer. Not something you would want to overload as it will tip up but that's never been an issue, I've used this on the beach, muddy walks, in the snow and around town with ease.

Perfect for holidays

HighPeakShopper, Tesco
11 November 2012
  • Summary: I did return this product but only because: it is a second pram for holidays and we also needed it to fit in our second car - unfortunately it did not fit - not that it is overly big that was more the problem of the car (small boot of cabriolet). Otherwise would have been perfect - only downside was the fact that it did not have a foot rest or recline quite far enough for what I though our 9 month old would require whilst we are on holiday.
