  • Conclusion: Lightweight with an easy, quick folding mechanism, the Maclaren Triumph is great for mums who need something compact and portable. Useful if you don’t want to be pushing around a heavy travel system buggy once your child is a toddler, and also perfect for taking on holiday from about the age of 6 months. Just don’t try to carry too many groceries home in it.
  • Pros: Weighs just 5kgs, so easy to lift, fold and manoeuvre., The Triumph is so light it makes life simple if you’re going out alone with your baby. It’s easy to lift in and out of the car or to take onto public transport. The best thing, though, is the fact it’s so easy to fold and unfold. Often when manufacturers claim you can do this it’s not that easy, but in this case it really is – you just flick the clip up, then collapse it down, and vice versa. And because once it’...
  • Cons: Backrest is hard to adjust,, Maclaren claims the Triumph is suitable from 3 months, though you’re unlikely to use it for a baby this young as it doesn’t offer the comfort of other sturdier buggies. Plus this would mean your baby is facing away from you, which isn’t ideal at such a young age.
