" Perfect buggy when works - nightmare of a company when doesn't…"
5 October 2012
Excerpt: Just posted this on Amazon, and pretty annoyed after getting off the phone with Maclaren. If my buggy never broke I'd be joining the masses with a raving review.. We bought this Techno XT and all was well. One of the main reasons we purchased it was price and the fact it had a Lifetime Sovereign Warranty. Normal exclusions applied (which I agreed were fair) 1. Had to be used by the owner from new [check] 2. For own children [check] 3.
Excerpt: We have ours for just over 3 years. It has done well and I agree with most of the positives, so not listed here, however I do feel there are alot of things we found a real pain about this pram. 1.Weight - it is not light - a struggle to get onto a bus with a toddler. We are looking at lighter options for our next. 2. Collapse mechanism. Tricky.
" Great buggy - very light, good on bumpy rough ground…" Mumsnetter GT888

Excerpt: Great buggy - very light, good on bumpy rough ground - mud doesn't get stuck in wheels! Love the sunshade - the main reason I purchased the buggy over the slightly cheaper Silver Cross Pop. The hood has an extra section so you can lower the hood to cover baby's face, also good for when they sleep. Basket isn't huge, and not that accessible when baby flat out, so you have to make sure you take out what you need first before reclining baby.
" Ideal for about short trips into town but quite heavy…"

Excerpt: Ideal for about short trips into town but quite heavy to push when loaded up with toddler + baby. Also find that I am always kicking the middle set of wheels. Seats narrow, I have just bought following birth of second child and my 22 month old can barely fit in with his winter coat on. Also difficult to manoevre with one hand if your wants to get out and walk a while.
Excerpt: I'm not at all keen on this buggy! I'm tall (but only 5, 11" - surely no taller than many dads!), so I bought it because it was the only one that had extendable handlebars that went up to my height and I thought I needed something more compact than the Mamas & Papas prammette I'd had for my son since birth. Also it reclines fully which is great for my toddler who still has long naps - something I'm keen to keep going as I'm about to have another baby!

Excerpt: Although this buggy is not excrutiatingly heavy, I did find it a struggle with 2 kids in (age 2.8 & 15 months). It's a good looking buggy and it's umbrella fold - which is always a good point - but for me it just didn't do the trick. Too cumbersome and I was a bit scared to try and get it through doors! Seats are a bit small.

Excerpt: A great all round buggy that's fantastic for use around town and in shops, but lack of and hard to get to storage bag makes loading up difficult. Ours is now 13 months old and is showing signs of wear, but has been used on a daily basis with very little maintenance!
" I loved this pushchair until yesterday when the front wheel…"

Excerpt: I loved this pushchair until yesterday when the front wheel fell off as part of it has snapped! I have had it 2 years but expected it to last my son until he no longer needed a pushcahir. Therefore I would questin it's durability.
