" Back wheels wear down incredibly quickly!…"

GrottyPotPlant, Mumsnet
2 March 2015
  • Excerpt: I bought mine because it is so compact and lightweight, I can heft it upstairs to my flat on my own with a sleeping and fully reclined toddler inside, and folded it can be squeezed into our hatstand in out small flat. Great for that! BUT the back wheels wore down badly within less than a year (and I had barely used it for the first 9 months or so, as we were mostly using a sling until my son was nearly 18 months old), and it became really hard to push, and in fact a...

" The rain cover really lets it down…"

denebiebe01, Mumsnet
10 June 2014
  • Excerpt: I really do love my Quest - with the exception that my daughter kicked through the rain cover (a design flaw, as it is quite restrictive around your little one's legs), and a new cover has been impossible to source. I have been searching online and in stores for over 6 months, having had the buggy for a year now. It is easy to use, but I'd advise other Mums to look for a brand that delivers on spare parts.

" Frustrated and disatisfied…"

whatsthetimemrswolf, Mumsnet
20 July 2013
  • Excerpt: I purchased mine in October 2012 and within a Month had to send it back as the handle covering rolled down and was not glued properly. Also the breaks were coming undone on every bus journey and I literally had to keep grabbing the buggy. Although Mcclavren promptly repaired free of charge I now have the seat stitching coming undone and it is less than a year since I purchased this buggy and not cheap. Back to the manufacture people again and one unimpressed Mum.

Happy with stroller but not the colour

Ophelia, Amazon
7 January 2013
  • Summary: The colour is nothing like the picture. The grey is much darker and the orange is almost brown. The colour combination still looks acceptable, but not cheerful at all. Will have to get a liner to hide the brown.

" Lightweight & great for airports but not big enough!…"

JessieQ, Mumsnet
24 August 2012
  • Excerpt: Great weight for travelling, especially in airports and abroad. However it is utterly hopeless on gravel and sand and my child who is 3 years old is already pretty much too big for it and their feet dangle on the floor, rather than sitting comfortably on the step.

" Poor quality…"

angelcake2, Mumsnet
12 June 2012
  • Excerpt: Was so pleased when first got this buggy as so lightweight and easy to use. However, handles fell apart within 3 months and wheels wore down at the back very quickly. I didn't put bags on the back and my baby was 8 months old. Customer care from Maclaren was dreadful. Friends have had same problems with this model. I wish I had bought Techno XT.
