The best buggy around!

daisynova, Made for Mums
2 December 2010
  • Summary: I bought this buggy as we travel a lot and it is hands down the best buggy we have ever had. I originally bought the Pliko pramette from Mamas and Papas as it was the lightest pramette on the market but it soon became heavy and cumbersome when travelling. However this buggy is fantastic - lightweight, folds easily, comfy for my son, has been on literally hundreds of flights, the basket is a good size and the handles are comfirtable for pushing the buggy for long periods...
  • Pros: Folds easily, lightweight, lasts forever, survived hundreds of flights!
  • Cons: Rain cover is too small and rips easily

  • Cons: foam handles can be damaged over time new style maclaren round clip harnes, whilst childproof can sometimes be parent proof too!

Lightweight, durable & stylish

lauramillie, Made for Mums
19 May 2009
  • Summary: As far as strollers go you can't get much better than Maclaren, they are built to last a lifetime & certainly are durable yet stylish.
  • Pros: The Maclaren quest is a lovely lightweight pushchair, has good recline & is nice & easy to push even with a toddler riding in it. I love the different colourways which make it funky & fresh. The easy small fol makes it ideal for people that travel in a car a lot.
  • Cons: I didn't like the brake on the Quest, It can be a bit awkward to use and more often than not its just easier not to use it, I also think the price tag is a bit high considering it's one of their lower end strollers

I love this stroller

Sharon, mother of 2, diapers.com
13 July 2008
  • Summary: This is a great stroller! We had an older version (from 3 yrs ago), which was unfortunately damaged in a fire - otherwise I would be using it now for my new baby. I just got this as a gift, and I am very happy. The only point to keep in mind: It does NOT lay flat. The item description says "full incline", which should mean that it lays flat, but it does not. I have brought this up to customer service, and they said they will look into updating the description.

IT DOES WHAT YOU EXPECT

charles ross, Made for Mums
4 February 2008
  • Summary: One of the better pushchairs
  • Pros: easy to fold (whilst holding onto toddler with other hand) easy to carry reasonably small to store (& will store upright) good wide seating area (so older kids fit in easily
  • Cons: none really specific to this model, just the usual pushchair ones. Needs a better sun visor & something to help keep the bugs off, but then I just bought a Shadeababe which did the job well...

Best umbrella stroller

First time mom, diapers.com
30 August 2007
  • Summary: I went back and forth between Quest and Volo and a friend recomended Quest. It if fantastic. My son is almost a year old and is very comfortable in it. Compared to Volo, he can hap in this one comfortably due to reclining back rest and he does not slouch. Also, I am 5-10 and my husband is 6-4 and the handle height is perfect for us. The basket is just fine. The Quest Mod Black is very stylish just like I like it.

lighter than the techno w/ all of the features

mom of two, diapers.com
24 February 2007
  • Summary: this is our third maclaren stroller and they never disappoint. when our techno xt finally gave up after 3 years of tough use we needed another stroller that had the recline but wasn't as heavy. It's light, comfy for our 4 month old and the new mod in black looks pretty cool too.

A great everyday buggy!

sassypat456, Dooyoo
19 February 2011
  • Excerpt: By the time my daughter moved up to the next stage carseat I had a sore back, was constantly slouching, and had lost all patience with trying to connect my heavy car seat to the bulky chassis, and trying to get this heavy contraption in and out of my dinky little car. So when it was time to say bye bye big buggy, I was more than happy to trade in my sturdy, but cumbersome model for a lightweight and flexible little stroller.

Great buy

kylise1, Dooyoo
29 January 2010
  • Excerpt: I bought my youngest daughter the maclaren quest mod as i knew it would be long lasting and good value for money. I had previously used a maclaren triumph with my oldest daughter and loved it. I love this version of umberella stroller just as much. There are various colours available and we have the pink and chocolate apple design one. Its a unusual design that really stands out from the crowd of pushchairs.

Perfect lightweight buggy

Glitterball2000, Dooyoo
10 June 2009
  • Excerpt: As my son gets older, it is becoming more of a pain to take him out in his big pushchair. I have a bugaboo cameleon which is a really great pushchair, but not so handy when you have to hop on a bus or in and out of the car. You really need 3 hands! I decided I needed a lightweight buggy too which would be easier for folding down on the bus, for popping to the shops and for travelling.
