GOOD CARSEAT BUT BECAREFUL WITH THE PRAM!

tracey barnard, Made for Mums
29 April 2006
  • Summary: I love the look of the pram...and the car seat I found very easy to use. I couldn't reccomend this product due to faults with the wheels.
  • Pros: Transferring my baby from buggy to car is quick and easy. Fabrics are attractive. Good padding baby looks very comfortable. Good size basket and a few other little conpartments. Good suspension, which creates a smooth ride for my newborn.
  • Cons: I have had my pram for 7months and already the back wheel has buckled. This has also happened to my sister and my friend has the same pram and her wheel fell off!! I have since spoken to a few people and was told that gracco's are well known for problems with the wheels as they get to a yr old!!

EXCELLENT BUGGY, GOOD CARRIER BUT VERY POOR CAR SEAT

Star, Made for Mums
16 November 2005
  • Summary: The travel system seems like good value but once purchased and in use its faults soon become evident. Whilst I love the buggy and carrier the car seat really lets it down so I couldn't recommend this product. You buy a deluxe travel system to cater for all travel and it definately does not do this. I was very disappointed.
  • Pros: Transferring baby from buggy to car is quick and easy. Fabrics are attractive. Generous padding. Good storage, which can be accessed even when my baby is sleeping. Good suspension, which creates a smooth ride for my newborn.
  • Cons: The car seat is useless as it is bulky and heavy and is awkward to fit to my car and any other car I have tried it in. There are lots of fiddly parts to get right if you want total security for your baby, which makes the system not easy to use. When it is installed correctly the carrier sits too upright so my baby's head lolls around on his chest, which is unsafe. The multiple padding makes the travel system out of action for the summer. Not lightweight even though ad...

" Easy to fold, but very heavy.…"

  • Excerpt: This travel system is all right if you have a spacious car. We have to rely on public transport, and I find getting on the bus a hassle just in case there is another buggy already in the bus and we have to fold ours. It's easy to fold but takes a lot of space even when folded. The car seat that comes with it seems too upright for a newborn.

  • Excerpt: This is a really sturdy pram and has LOADS of storage space. I used it as a pram with the car seat rather than the cot-style attachment and not only do you have the very large basket, you can also store blankets, coats, slings/carriers etc in the gap between the car seat and the back of the pushchair. However, as other reviewers have said it is enormous - we've nicknamed it 'The Tank'!

  • Excerpt: PROS Very easy to manouvere, and really sturdy. I use it when we're walking my dog - he pulls like a train and it never feels like it's going to tip over. The basket is huge, and the back can be lowered so you can get your shopping in and out while the seat is reclined. CONS It is huge and heavy. I took it with me when I went to buy a new car and tried loads before I found a car with a boot big enough. My shopping has to go on the back seat.

  • Excerpt: This buugy has some very big pros and some very big cons! BIG PROS The seat is very well padded and super comfy and supportive by far the best i have seen. The fabric on the seat and cosy toes is good quality and washes well. The newborn carrycot is very useful to tranfer sleeping newborn and allows you to lay your baby totally flat. The basket is huge! The sunshade is excellent and the buggy is easy to fold one handed once you get the hang of it.
