Reviews and Problems with Foundations Quad Stroller

Summary: This stroller is very well made; however, I didn't realize just how heavy it was until we got it. When it is assembled, it weighs 84 pounds. I knew any quad stroller would be heavy, but I was looking for something I would be able to lift in and out of my SUV when I needed to get out with my children by myself. Also, it doesn't fit through a standard doorway unless you fold it up.
Summary: Save your money...or spend more on something better! from NH Got this for my daycare center to replace my regular Foundations Quad stroller and hated it. Can't get the latches to reach to keep it closed, even when putting all my weight on it, brake cable gets caught around the wheel when I try to open it, and the bar that clips on in front of the front seat passengers keeps falling off. It is massive in size and so heavy and hard to lift. This thing is a beast!!!!
Summary: This stroller was worth every penny!! It pushes smooth with little effort!! My hand does not hurt or become sore or tired when holding down the brake. (I had an older one that did) the stroller can also handle the weight of the children up 50 lbs each, so I can put toddlers and infants in it.....Perfect! It is huge! Only fits through my front door and super heavy close to 90 pounds, but not meant to travel in and out of a car.
Summary: I have 3 boys aged 3 (36 lbs), 3 (24 lbs), and 2 (21 lbs) + 5 year old (45 lbs to use when she needed a rest) Apparently this weight even without my daughter is too much. The front 2 seats really shouldn't hold children over a year or so. The first time we used it the bolt broke to the guard rail. It is EXTREMELY heavy even without kids in it, and the wheels are awful.... Super hard to turn. It is really just a cheap banana stroller times 4...
Summary: I have this stroller for my triplets and love it...I recommend it to all my other triplet mom friends. It is heavy, but very sturdy and roomy. I love that I always have an extra seat where I can stash my diaper bag or other bags when I am out shopping. It fits thru doorways easily which is a big problem with triplet side by side strollers. I would recommend it for sure.
Summary: I expected this quad stroller to be a bit heavy but oh my goooooodneesss this thing feels as if it weighs a ton. My daughter and I had to lift it down the stairs because it was too heavy for me to lift by myself. The directions were a little confusing at first but once you look at the parts carefully you can figure it out. It does not take that long to figure it out and actually assembly is not that difficult.
