Smooth Strolling

Anonymous, Bugaboo strollers
27 April 2010
  • Summary: SO far SO good. I ordered the Peg Perego car seat adapter for my Bugaboo Cameleon stroller for use when I run errands, shop etc. It connects easily to the stroller bottom and functions smoothly. It makes the transition from car to stroller easy and it's easy on my son...he isn't disrupted if he's sleeping - moving him from one thing to another. If he falls asleep while shopping, it's an easy transfer back to the car.

THE WAY TO WORK THIS ADAPTER

Damian, Bugaboo strollers
12 December 2008
  • Summary: The reason for some of the confusion on earlier posts is because people are using the white buttons on the side of the Adapter to release it from the Stroller. The way to release it is actually to use the release button on the Car Seat itself (just as you would when you take it out the car). That way the Adapter remains on the Stroller at all times.

Bugaboo Graco Car Seat Adapter - Great Purchase

Anonymous, JoggingStroller.com
4 December 2008
  • Summary: The Bugaboo Graco Car Seat Adapter was a lifesaver since my baby hates laying flat in the bassinet but loves to ride around in her carseat. The adapter stuck a bit in the beginning and it was hard to remove the car seat, but that has since resolved with use... Great purchase. Just wish the bassinet feature of the Bugaboo was optional.

So, So Convenient...

My 3 Irish Boys, Bugaboo strollers
25 November 2008
  • Summary: The only thing I don't care for about the adaptors is that you have to remove them from both the stroller chassis and the car seat in order to put the car seat in the car and fold up the chassis. The adaptors lock out the chassis from being folded, so you have to remove and then reattach the adaptors each time you go to put the car seat on the chassis. It's just one more thing you have to do...otherwise it is nice being able to just snap the car seat and go.

Bugaboo Car Seat Connector - Just a warning...

Serena, JoggingStroller.com
1 July 2008
  • Summary: Although it is a great convenience to be able to relocate baby while in their car seat - it's NOT recommended to keep the baby in the car seat for more than 2 hours; it's not good for their head, neck, and spine. The majority of parents don't know this - and I've seen babies in their car seats for hours on end. This is why the bassinet is one of the greatest benefits of the Bugaboo - because baby can be in a more natural position when you're out on the go.
