  • Summary: I LOVE this pram! When we had our first, we always knew we'd want a second fairly close in age, so we started off with a phil and ted's tandem that was passed on to us from a friend. With the use of their 'peanut' bassinet, that pram was brilliant for the first 5 months or so, but as soon as my baby boy had to be facing outwards, my feelings towards it suddenly changed.
  • Pros: Best points: great to push / steer, carrycot size was good (lasted well beyond friends using i-candy, up until about 6kg and would have gone on longer) and carrycot mattresses v comfy so used for daytime sleeps for ages (so saved money by never buying Moses baskets), fits most doors in pram / buggy mode, quick and easy to fold / unfold once you get the knack and the catches loosen up, flexible seating in buggy mode (fwd face, parent face), ability to recline one twin ...
  • Cons: Worst points: heavy to lift, rain covers didn't really fit in pram mode (but v easy in buggy mode), frustrating instruction book, slightly too wide in twin car seat mode to get into most shops (fine in supermarkets though), gets a lot of attention (although perhaps this is my super cute boys too!), same frame for buggy seats and carry cots so once switched to buggy mode itsnotmquick to switch back Price of accessories is high - still holding off on cosy toes as that w...

Bugaboo Donkey Stroller

Jennifer, baby earth
13 August 2012
  • Summary: We were so excited to receive our Bugaboo Donkey. It has proved to be the perfect stroller for us especially since we plan to have more children. It glides down the road and a baby can sleep through the bumps. It's very versatile and easy to maneuver and use. We love it and highly recommend it!

  • Excerpt: Fabulous. Love it. Tiny twins so cosy & comfy in flat carrycots, then face you then face the world. Brilliant suspension, padded seats, secure straps, one hand to push & steer. Great now for singleton too. Folding a small palaver but all prams with removable seats are the same.

" I can't fault it.…"

  • Excerpt: A great pushchair. Purchased 12 months ago before the arrival of my third child, I used it as a single (in "mono" mode) and thought it was great- loved having the basket on the side to put in jackets, teddies etc so I wasn't rooting in the underneath for things and was great when I was nipping to the shops for a loaf of bread and pint of milk- no shopping basket or bags required which can be a faff with pushchairs!
