Very disappointing

  • Summary: I borrowed this buggy to use with my toddler when visiting a friend who had just had a baby. Perhaps for her new born it was ok, but i found it very clumbsy and unstable to use with my toddler. It was not easy to change from rear to forward facing. It felt like a wonky shopping trolley when pushing it on the pavement, kept vereing off in the direction of the slope and giving my cramp in my hand to keep it straight. Not an easy buggy to push at all for a toddler!
  • Pros: forward and rear facing, from birth to 4 years.
  • Cons: fiddly to change from forward to rear facing. Could not manage to change the back rest height to use the hood for my toddler or adjust the seat. felt like a wonky trolley when pushing it. Very unstable to get up onto the kerb when crossing the road or getting into shops. Not easy to push at all. Apparently comes flat packed and you have to completely assemble the chasis and frame, which is supposed to be tricky. Luckily the shop my friend bought it from build it for y...

Looks good, that's all

  • Summary: I bought this hoping it would block the sun from my baby - and it looks so good! But unfortunately it didn't block much sun at all, and with a little wind - it blew right off and the fabric is slightly torn now, this happened on many occasions. So I won't buy it next time.

" serious flaws…"

  • Excerpt: When everything is working as it should, this pram is easy to steer and smooth. However, two really annoying design faults make this pushchair, in my opinion, a bad buy. Firstly, the adjustable height handles are good. Unfortunately the clips that secure them in place wear out very quickly. This means that the handles slide up and down freely, making the pram unusable. We have had to replace them every six months, with the inevitable delay between ordering and delivery.

" A bit too gimmicky and pricey for what it delivers…"

  • Excerpt: Considering its considered the must have pushchair for any wannabe we were very disappointed with the build quality and ease of use. Very disappointed with it as a whole so we sold it and bought the Jane Rider instead to replace it.

" Not worth the money…"

  • Excerpt: I've owned this pram for almost 2 years and I regret buying it. The only positive I can think of is that it is lightweight, which is also part of the problem. It's not sturdy and not built to last. We use this pram almost every day and it makes me want to tear my hair out. If you walk briskly or at any speed other than slow, the front wheels shake and you have to stop before the shaking will go away. This happens all the time.

" Terrible, stay away…"

  • Excerpt: This is a buggy to stay away from. Wheels are dangerous, the handle won't lock, bugaboo bee customer services are really slow. This is the case of the emperors new clothes, don't let the price tag fool you as it did me.

" Rubbish pram. Too expensive and numerous design faults…"

  • Excerpt: I cannot understand why this pram gets such great reviews. It costs much more than other makes but in my opinion is not worth the money. There are a number of design faults. I have owned my pram for five months. First of all one of the back wheels has started to spin. Apparently this is quite a common complaint and bugaboo replace the wheel if you contact them. If this is the case why don't they just sort it out? Major hassle to organise if you are a busy mother.

" Don't buy this shoddy pushchair…"

  • Excerpt: What a fashionable piece of tat. Seriously you'd think between the wheel "shimmying" and the frequent frame misalignment that this is a pushchair better consigned to the history books as nice looking but totally useless. In addition to the above, the following finally convinced me to sell ours: -wheels and frame don't feel sturdy, making us feel nervous when going up escalators or even pavement ridges. - no peekaboo window in the canopy.

" I have had a bugaboo bee for 2 months, and…"

  • Excerpt: I have had a bugaboo bee for 2 months, and onto my second one. The seat does not come out of its slots easily when changing seat, not does it click back in as easily. In addition, if the universal footmuff is used whilst the buggy is parent facing, it is extremely difficult to apply brake, and then open buggy. It get in the way. This seems to be a design fault, especially as there are similar buggies that open and close using a mechanism near the handle bar.
