" Don't buy from this company…"

23 January 2014
  • Excerpt: Ours broke after the warranty was expired and of course they would do nothing to help us. We called the call centre. They wouldn't even sell us a repair kit to fix the problem ourselves. They told us the only option was to get someone in Toronto to repair the stroller. We live in Vancouver, BC. (Toronto is a two day drive away). Our friends had the Frog and it was crappy too. The steering was terrible. I am sad that something so expensive can be so terribly made.

" Dangerous do not buy this buggy…"

Timmysmith, Mumsnet
1 May 2013
  • Excerpt: Today I was getting on a bus and only one of the front wheels managed to land firmly on the bus, because the wheels are like industrial 360 degree castors the wheel shot off to the right and the buggy nearly completely flipped over and threw my baby out of the pram, a problem even if both wheels have a footing. If I had not had a firm grasp with both hands at that moment my baby may have been killed.

" Not suitable for anything…"

Timmysmith, Mumsnet
28 April 2013
  • Excerpt: I don't know why these bugaboo bee's are so popular. The handle bar is curved so holding and pushing the buggy for anything more than few minutes hurts your wrists. The wheels get caught in the smallest crack in the pavement. When getting on and off buses the wheels at the front often shoot off to the left or right at 90 degrees which is positively Dangerous. The wheel base is too long so the turning circle isn't tight enough.

" I had this on a product trial over a year…"

  • Excerpt: I had this on a product trial over a year ago and I was completely unimpressed with it to be honest. It felt filmsy with my 3 year old in it and I thought it had a mind of its old. I was worried that although he was within the weight limit for it that it was going due to his size.

" Awful Pushchair I am so unhappy with this pushchair. We…"

Jolly80, Mumsnet
22 September 2011
  • Excerpt: Awful Pushchair I am so unhappy with this pushchair. We bought it from John Lewis, as we wanted something light and easy to use on public transport and have peace of mind. It is certainly light, but that is pretty much the only good thing abut it. The steering is horrendous, when you stop for any reason, the front wheels seem to become stuck and I am constantly having to kick them back into place. The wheels are always sticking and it is a real nuisance.

" I wouldn't normally post on boards like this but given…"

ajtaylor, Mumsnet
29 August 2011
  • Excerpt: I wouldn't normally post on boards like this but given how bad our experiences with the bugaboo bee have been I feel it is important to warn other people about this stroller. The front wheels constantly jam in awkward positions. The makes it impossible to turn the pushchair in the direction you want. This has not been fixed by a new chassis or new wheels supplied by bugaboo (ie a completely new stroller).

" Unfortunately this product has several severe problems that they have…"

dval, Mumsnet
8 August 2011
  • Excerpt: Unfortunately this product has several severe problems that they have not been able to fix including significant "shimmying" in the wheels (as they have termed it) which makes the pram impossible to push foward. They took over a month to send a "fix" which included fabric washers which did not solve the problem. Additionally, the carriage on one side did not click in and they still have not resolved that problem either.
