Easy to Push but Shaky

Jansma22, toysrus.com
6 September 2014
  • Excerpt: We have a city select and mostly really enjoy it. However, when we go for walks occasionally the front wheel shakes and the only thing to stop it is to lift the front end of the stroller and hit it down....not that impressed to have a shaky component given the price tag of this stroller. Also, it is a disappointment that after dropping a substantial amount on a stroller that extra money needs to be spent to hold a water bottle or my child's drink.

Hard to fold

Sarahainsliemc, toysrus.com

  • Excerpt: I got this stroller for my second baby as i needed a double. I like a lot of the features however i can not fold it. It takes me 5 or 6 tries and can still hadly get it. I have to be in a certain position and the circles on the side that say fold never pull up. I am not a weak or imcompetent either. It has been like this from the first time i used it. I keep thinking it will get easier, it jas not budged.

Front wheels wobbling

gwies, toysrus.com
4 July 2014
  • Excerpt: We bought this stroller months ago and like it for the most part. Only major problem is that the front wheels wobble and shake severely. It now happens more frequently and the issue lasts longer each time.

Love and hate... NEED HELP !

Monika, toysrus.com
3 July 2014
  • Excerpt: This pram is all I need - massive shopping basket, huge, comfortable seats - even my 3 year old can have a nice ride in it, can be pushed with one hand BUT! Most of the time we are in a hurry, between nursery, activities and home but with the new feature I just dicovered tis extra wobblines of the front wheels - I can only be as fast as snail. The minute I try to reach the turtle pace... wheels starts to wobble! I need to stop or slow down to make them work normal again.

Wobbly front wheels

Ohshannona, toysrus.com
17 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I bought this three months ago for my first baby. I have enjoyed the flexibility of using the car seat or bassinet at this time as well as the option for two seats in the future. It is heavy to get in and out of the trunk but pretty easy to assemble and push. My biggest complaint right now is that the front wheels wobble which make pushing more difficult. I'm hoping this resolves when I switch to the other seat.

Bit heavy and bulky, even for a double

Abby, toysrus.com
13 May 2014
  • Excerpt: While I like the stroller overall and the basket is big, it has some serious problems making me wish I had kept my uppababy Vista. It's hard to steer with just one hand and the seats are sort of short and narrow. The basket is big but it is hard to access because of the way the seats fit. The canopies are mediocre. Maybe if I wasn't comparing it to such a positive experience with the uppababy I would be more satisfied with my baby jogger city select.

Baby Joggers best item!

janetremsnyder, Viewpoints
27 December 2010
  • Excerpt: We recently purchased this stroller to replace our first stroller that we recieved at our baby shower. Although we only have one child, we knew we wanted to have more and this seemed like the perfect stroller for it. We purchased it because of the double stroller add on option and all of the different seat options you can do. Also, the size of the basket underneath can not be beat by any other double stroller brands.

Do not buy this in Diamond color

frugal mommy, JoggingStroller.com
24 December 2010
  • Summary: First of all, the color Diamond should not be sold to any parent. It shows dirt too easily. I've had this stroller for about 8 months now, and I think it's been through normal wear and tear, I don't use it every day, really probably less than normal, and it looks horrible now. Even though this is a nice, expensive stroller, you wouldn't think so because of the dirt on the canopy.

disapointed

Anonymous, JoggingStroller.com
6 December 2010
  • Summary: I was really excited about this stroller at first, but after using it i was very disappointed. yes the configurations are great but it is hard to maneuver as a double. where i live some of the sidewalks are slanted and the stroller rolls in that direction, you really have to push it hard to get it going straight again and that really hurts your wrists. I first thought my wheels were damaged so i had them replaced and nothing changed.
