Big, but handles great
7 February 2012
Excerpt: This is a big stroller, make no bones about it. A standard doorway is 30"; this stroller measures 29.50"...and that is without the plastic rain cover. It is also long and high (I'm tall, yet when the sun hoods are open, I can not see the front of the stroller).
Excerpt: I absolutely loved this stroller while I had it. It is truly the easiest stroller to fold and unfold. Each seat does fully recline independently as does each canopy retract independently, which was a must for my 2. The push is smooth and easy.
Excerpt: I am a mom of 3 children, all 4 and under, and I have spent well over $1,000.00 in strollers over the course of 4 years. I wish I would have bought the baby jogger, double elite FIRST, and made that my one and only purchase. Though it isn't lightweight, it is an amazing stroller.
Excerpt: If you need a double stroller with all terran air-filled wheels, consider this one.I had the Mountain Buggy Urban Double for awhile, but I did not like that the seats did not incline enough. The child was forced to lean way back, and my child likes to look out and be engaged.
Baby Jogger City Elite Double Stroller - worth the splurge!

Excerpt: Let me begin by saying that I have never spent this much money on a baby item - ever! It was a big decision for me. I spent hours searching online about different double strollers and more time trying them out in stores. (where available - many weren't available locally).
Summary: I have a 2008 model and it is SO AWESOME i cannot even tell you.. Like the review before me tells you it has every bell and whistle including my favs like compartments for keys phone, drinks, snacks and even food for the ducks!
Summary: After agonizing and doing much research on all the double strollers available, I decided on the Baby Jogger City Elite. I already had the Baby Jogger City Mini Double and loved it, but wanted something more comfortable and durable for long walks and the zoo, etc.
Summary: I researched double strollers extensively once number two was on the way. We saved for a year and bought the City Elite Double when baby two was six months and baby one was 3. It is a very sturdy stroller and far above its peers in overall quality. As nice as it is, it is very overpriced.
Summary: We bought this stroller last summer after much consideration and planning as to which one to get. We have a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. It is awesome! We mostly use it for walks and store it in the garage but when we have taken it places, it fits into the trunk of our Chevy Impala just fine.
Best Double Stroller On The Market, Bar None (but won't keep your kids dry)!

Summary: This is the 3rd double stroller we've owned, and we have yet to find a flaw (other than not including a rain cover with the purchase...). This is the ultimate SUV of double strollers. DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A LIGHTWEIGHT, SMALL PRODUCT!
