Excerpt: Let me say that i have loved this monitor right up until it was a year old and then it stopped linking with the baby unit. I was able to contact the company and get a replacement free of charge. Now at just about the year mark on my second monitor, we had a brief power outage and they again would not link. The company told me i should have had everything plugged into surge protectors and that once they lose their link, they will not get it back again.
Excerpt: This product works well and has great battery life. I like being able to see the temperature in the baby's room. The only unexpected feature is that it auto-squelches, which means you only hear sound if the baby makes a noise. The background noise from his noise machine is not transmitted. Sometimes it is nice to be able to hear the background noise just to know the monitor is working, but I've decided I'm OK with it.
Pros: Clear Signal, Good Range, Great Features, Simple
Excerpt: Product had been returned. Had scuff marks. no warning from store clerk it was used. I paid the brand new price. : ( not happy. Worked fine but still I should have gotten an extra discount for a used item.
Excerpt: We used the monitor in our old home with thick plaster walls. We used it in our nursery and would wear the parent unit around the house while the baby napped.

It worked great for us - until our unit lost power for a few days due to weather related power outage... then our parent unit would not link to the baby unit. All it would do is turn on and beep continuously with a warning of 'not linked' on the display.
Excerpt: I live in a split level townhouse and the nursery is upstairs with the main unit. When I would play music for her in her room, I found the monitor actually would go in and out (one second I would hear the music and then it would shut off for a minute.) I feel like if something were to actually happen, the monitor could be shut off for that moment. I feel like if you live in a one-story house it would be fine though. But it's not for me.
Pros: Great Features, User Friendly
Cons: Bad Range, Poor Battery Life, Poor Transmission, Static/Interference, Unreliable
Excerpt: For the most part the monitors do the job. I have found that the second I step out my front door (to check the mail, get my husband in the garage, etc) it loses the signal. I'm confined to the inside of my home only. Also, it will randomly lose the signal within feet of the main monitor and start beeping (awesome in the middle of the night...). I would recommend trying a different product and save yourself some money...
Excerpt: This monitor was a gift off our registry and work ok for only a few months. It would lose the connection to the main monitor from time to time at first (of course in the middle of the night and wake us all up) but at about 5 months into using it the monitor lost the connection and would not link back up.
