Summary: I've had this camera for over 2 years and the camera works great and still holds a multi-hour charge for use off the wire. 2 kids and 2 years later, I'm looking to add a 2nd camera to the parent unit to monitor two kids.. Having a hard time finding just the camera...
Summary: The Luvion Grand Elite is completely over-rated. The video quality is OK if you happen to get lucky with a good camera. We have 2 cameras (one which came with the kit) and another add-on one; and only one of them is really any good. Putting the 2 next to each other viewing the same scene the results are drastically different. I returned the bad one to Luvion only to have it replaced with another one of equally poor quality.
Summary: This is absolutely top quality baby monitor that has just about every bell and whistle you'd ever need. Including recording capability and line out to TV. It also has the best range I've found in any baby monitor. Between purchases and borrowing units from friends, we've tried 5 different monitors in our house and this one tied for the best. In case you're wondering, we also tried the Levana, Summer Infant, and Motorola. The Motorola and this one had the best range.
Summary: Product has all of the features and performance of a high end baby monitor. Image quality is good both during the day and night...even at 8+ feet away. Luliby melodys are "machine like" and limited. It would be great if you could save a song (that your child likes) on a SD card and play it from your monitor. Camera is not pan & tilt which you would expect at this price point. You also cannot stream the video via facebook or other clients.
Summary: Very clear picture quality, good reception and great that you can keep adding monitors as your brood expands. Haven't got to grips with recording function yet but instructions are quite straight forward and easy to follow.
Summary: After a fair bit of research, I purchased one of these units with a single camera for my first-born. She is now 3 years old and I am coming back to buy an additional camera for baby number 2. It is without a doubt one of the more expensive systems available but well worth it in my opinion.
Summary: I've chosen this baby monitor after looking at several others. The screen is not small like many monitors from other brands and the price/quality ratio is very good. The monitor has been dropped on the floor twice without scuffs or damage. Audio quality is good, menus are intuitive and it has a good battery duration. The cons: When the monitor is discharged the internal clock gets reset and you need to go to the menu to set it right again.
Summary: Interesting that there are only 4 reviews on here for this. I bought this 5 months ago prior to the arrival of our cheery little bundle of nocturnal wakenings. I typically like to do lots of 'research' (ie - tons of reading other people's reviews) before purchasing a new bit of kit. Now £150 odd notes is no small amount of cash to wallop out on what is essentially a bit of posh closed circuit TV to keep an eye on nipper.
Summary: I thought it was the best monitor ever... Until one day the screen suddenly became black. The monitor was open but it did not operate. I have tried to reach the company through e-mail and they replied to my queries after 1 week (and after sending them several reminders)!! What was their final response? GET A NEW MONITOR FROM OUR WEBSITE (which does not sell separate monitors)! This is unacceptable for a company selling so expensive goods.
Summary: The initial unit purchased was delivered faulty as the camera thermostat would not read the temperature of the room at all. After liaising with the reseller, who was very helpful, we returned the faulty item and a working replacement was shipped to us. When contacting Luvion direct for support prior to returning the unit to the reseller, they were disappointingly slow in their response time and with no tangible solution - which was compensated by the prompt actions of...
