Summary: It's not bad for a basic model, this is a replacement monitor for us as our Tomy gave up after a couple of years usage. We keep the monitor base out on the landing as we are listening for two children and don't want to have two monitors going, the monitor does pick up their mid range noises e.g...
Excerpt: I bought one of these two years ago for my first child and still use it today. I've been so happy with it that I've just purchased a second one for my new baby. I wanted a simple monitor for hearing the noises my children make and didn't need lullabies and light shows etc.
Excerpt: This is the second one of these monitors we have had and I am really pleased with it (again). It isn't fancy (you just get sound and vision, no breathing monitors or video) but it works well for what it is meant to do - allow you to hear if your child needs you.
Excerpt: This was easy to set up and worked straight away. But even with the volume on max you have to be right next to it to hear it, and the sound is harsh and distorted.
I ended up running a cable and using a proper microphone because (as a professional sound engineer) it didn't seem acceptable to me.
Summary: The battery doesn’t last more than two hours so we have to take the charger around everywhere with us. The speaker malfunctions if tapped and the sound bar turns orange, you can no longer hear the baby.
Summary: I never write reviews normally but making an expection this time as this product is not worth the money. Battery life is shocking!!! And the sound/volumne is soo dissapointing i always end up goin up to make sure. Its a product that has failed to meet the basic of needs never mind anything else.
Summary: This worked fine for 3 months. All of a sudden the battery life has shortened. It can stay on charge all night and day then when in use it lasts no longer than 2 hours. I'm very disappointed and now have to find a new monitor, sharpish. Useless piece of junk.
