Too many false alarms if your baby is a wiggle worm!

Excerpt: We purchased the Bebe Sounds Angel Care Movement Sensor Baby Monitor after my son had trouble breathing one afternoon at 2 months old. We followed the instructions carefully and added a large board under his crib mattress and placed the sensor pad in the middle of the mattress.
Excerpt: I had a premature baby and thought this product was the perfect solution to ease my fears. Honestly it was not. It didn't always register that my child was in the bed. Sometimes there would be false alarm sounds coming from the crib which would scare me half to death for no reason at all and...
Summary: We ordered and returned this unit twice, few flaws to tell you about. complicated to use and set up . It felt flimsy and did not seem robust. The parent unit comes with rechargeable batteries and charge function, but the child unit is not provided with any batteries and here is the stupid bit the...
Summary: product is good in principle but a light on the parent unit display (the one for movement sensation) stopped working after a few days, although this doesn't affect the function. my monitor is picking up from next door's sensor after they bought one on my recommendation.
Summary: We bought one of these in 2009 for our first born. Whilst it says that it isn't preventative we did find the motion sensor gave us peace of mind and so we were able to go to sleep without feeling the need to continuously check our baby was still breathing which I think I would have wanted to do...
Summary: This got good reviews and was on a good offer at the time thankfully. I am not impressed with it though to be honest. AT the moment, it has been unplugged & it is on the shelf in my bedroom, so that says it all really.
Summary: When used for the 4th time, the baby unit started beeping next to my sleeping son, to signal us that it was running out of batterie. The unit had been charged for three days at this point and should not have run out after 10 minutes.
Summary: We bought this monitor becasue it had a great feature list and looked good value. However we found the device to be overly complicated and never felt confident in its operation as a monitor. Never sure if its actually working due to the plethora of oprions & menu settings.
Summary: The menu system is strangely complicated for something that does such a simple job. We got it set up by following the instructions, but something as basic as this shouldn't need a guide several pages long. We bought the 'Deluxe' package with movement sensor pad and two handsets.
Some good points but two faulty units hence the two stars

Summary: I really like the sensor pad feature and it gave us great peace of mind but after a few months of use we began to get interference issues. We followed all of the troubleshooting advice but still we were awoken suddenly at random periods during the night with VERY loud buzzes, hisses and crackles!
