Difficult to use and annoying alarms

Meadie, kiddicare.com
18 August 2009
  • Summary: We received this and placed the product on charge for the recommended 15 hours. The alarm kept setting itself off and we couldn't figure out how to stop it as the instructions are not clear at all. Also the alarm seemed to be triggering the unit which would be kept in the baby's room which would wake the baby?? I'm sending this back and swapping it for another.

UK and Ireland ONLY!

Bart Siwek, Amazon
7 March 2014
  • Summary: Do not buy this if you live outside UK or Ireland. Angelcare is not considerate enough of its customers to write in the product name that this is a UK/IE only equipment and instead has a small paragraph in the middle of this huge website. So far - a huge waste of money for me.

" false reassurance…"

DKPANESAR, Mumsnet
17 December 2013
  • Excerpt: I do not have this monitor. I feel someone should point out that movement monitors have not been proven to prevent cot death in low risk infants: http://sidsandkidswa.org/assets/info-statements/home_monitoring.pdf Also, this monitor has been recalled for safety reasons in the USA as babies have been strangled by the cord. There is a cord cover to prevent this available.
