WAY WAY too many bells and whistles (literally)

Debra, Target
9 November 2013
  • Excerpt: This thing is WAY too complicated. I chose it because I'd like to use the motion sensor for occasional tummy naps when our baby is fussy from gas, and it does work. But bells were going off all the time, and there are too many unnecessary settings.

Not worth the money

Napervillemom, Viewpoints

  • Excerpt: I was very excited to get this monitor at a baby shower for my first baby. I was a nervous first time mom and thought this was a must. We did not end up using it at all really. The reception on the monitor was horrible. We could not use it at night, as the interference kept us awake.

Started Smoking!!

Michelle, Target
9 October 2011
  • Excerpt: I bought this monitor because of the high reviews and I was excited to use it. But the handheld monitor started to smoke when I put the batteries in. I called the company directly and they are sending a replacement, however, I am very hesitant to use it.

  • Excerpt: I consider myself a protective parent, and when my friend mentioned AngelCare to me I was so excited and when she bought it for me I could not be happier. We started out with the Angel Care monitor in my son's pack and play.

Not worth the money

17 September 2008
  • Excerpt: When my sister told me about this monitor, I was sold immediately. I wasn't concerned with the price...how can you put a price on sanity and a good night's sleep? Once I got the monitor, though, I was very disappointed. There was so much static and interference, I couldn't sleep for all the noise.

Don't waste your money.

17 September 2008
  • Excerpt: As a first-time parent, I am very protective of my child. I had heard so much about SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) while pregnant, I thought this monitor would alleviate my fears. It works by placing the unit under the crib mattress. It is very sensitive and has to be adjusted with precision.
