Fab bit of kit, wouldn't be without it now - piece of mind with fully 'failsafe' design

Summary: The sensor pad works really well, and I like the general idea of 'fail-safe' design so if there is no movement from the cot, or the power fails, or signal drops or anything like this it warns you - me being a general 'worrier' normally this really does give a piece of mind. The night vision camera is great - can keep an eye on baby anytime of the day.
Pros: As overall description, would certainly buy again or recommend to a friend.
Cons: None really - guess its reasonably expensive, but you get what you pay for and this is worth the extra over other, lower spec units if you can reach to it.
Summary: I absolutely hated this monitor and swapped it for a simpler one. The parent monitor has a touch screen with tons of options, all in grainy black and white that are hard to make out; it kept going into "hibernate" mode like a computer before I could change any of the settings; it kept not even going to the main screen but remaining blue and blank ... total nightmare.
Summary: We haven't actually used the monitor mat yet (we should have brought the cheaper model but we may use it soon!). Audio and screen are pretty good although the quality of the video, by today's standards, is pretty low. Smart and compact with loads of features.
So when a good friend of ours gave birth to a beautiful baby ...

Summary: Of all the baby products we had purchased or received as a gift, this was our top 1 must have products! Our baby boy is now 19 months old and we are still using it. It helps to keep an eye on him when he is ill so we can put him to bed but still keep an eye on him. We had one scenario he got sick while still lying on his back so we could rush to him on time to relieve him and clean him up.
Summary: Faulty product - Alarm sounds every time I turn it on... No instructions or warranty in the box. I bought it 3 months before my girl friend had our baby as was going away to work. Since baby arrived and opened the box for the first time have only just realised we were sold a faulty good. Wish to return it but now we have pasted our returns date. Very unhappy.
Summary: Complete peace of mind. We had a child who wouldn't sleep, gave up at 4 weeks and tried her own room, she happily slept alone. I was so worried about SIDS that this monitor gave me the peace of mind so I could sleep easily. Volume buttons ensured we could hear her and video meant later on we knew if crying was in her sleep or that she was actually awake! I have just bought another one for no 2! My first is nearly 2 and I still can't do without it.
Summary: We previously had the Tt monitor and after many, many.....false alarms (we could see her move) we sent it back and purchased this Angelcare monitor. It is so much better and easier to use. Pros: You can enable / disable the mat from the monitor Not many interferences with WiFi equipment It has a belt clip There is a charging station The batteries are rechargeable AAA so you can change them when the performance decreases Cons: I've only found one, the Green light that...
Summary: Good product. I doubt the readings on the temperature gauge and also feel like the touch-screen feel a little dated. The video quality is average but sound quality (hearing the baby) is excellent. Battery life of the hand unit is poor and constantly needs a charge. That said, this product is clearly well regarded within the market for these products and their customer service is excellent.
