Moby Wrap Carrier

Court, toysrus.com
15 September 2013
  • Summary: I bought this because everyone was telling me how great it was and how more convenient it was than carrying the car seat into run errands. The first time I wore it out, it took too long to put on. The straps are extremely long and heavy. By the time I was done my baby was awake and crying (took well over 5 minutes to put together standing in the parking lot of the grocery store). It took a while to put together but I was determined to wear it!

Nope

Nicole B, toysrus.com

  • Summary: I had zero time to even dare try to figure this thing out. I opened it, saw how big it was and put it back in the box and returned it. I imagine it would be good for someone with patience.

Cumbersome

Firegirl, toysrus.com
6 August 2013
  • Summary: I was excited to use it but found it to be rather annoying to put on. The cloth drags on the floor when you are making it into a wrap and if you are not on a clean floor then the wrap is now dirty. I could never get my sons head I the right position in it even after watching about 10 different YouTube video tutorials. I have since returned it.

Waste of Money

New Mom, toysrus.com
1 August 2013
  • Summary: I bought this product based on exellent reviews but I am surprised people actualy LIKE the Moby Wrap and use it regularly. It is easy enough to figure out how to wrap it but it is a big pain in the you know where to do so everytime you want to wear your baby. I gave the Moby a chance and tried wearing my baby in it several times but it is so inconvienent. And in the summer it is HOT ot have all that extra fabric wrapped around you PLUS a baby.

Too much fabric

ActiveMama, toysrus.com
29 July 2013
  • Summary: I got this to carry my son in while I went on walks and did housework. I have a relatively small frame, so I felt that the wrap was wayyy too big for me. I had to double wrap it and it looked extremely big and bulky on me. I've only used it twice, and I'd like to return it to find something better.

Waaaaaay difficult to use

Tara, toysrus.com
5 June 2013
  • Summary: This was very difficult to use and right after giving birth, it made me feel like either I was "too big" for it or it wasn't designed properly. I tried multiple times to figure this out and kept thinking "I'm an intelligent person, why can't I get this to work comfortably?!" I even had another person there to try to help me use it and combined we couldn't get it to work. I would have never been able to get it to wrap on my own.

A lot of fabric. . . hard to wrap

Kb, toysrus.com

  • Summary: There is a lot of fabric with this wrap and it was difficult to wrap it just right and get my baby inside.I prefer the carriers with less wrapping like the mei tai or baby bjorn carriers.

Not for me

Elizabeth, toysrus.com
23 January 2013
  • Summary: I never connected with this product. Never quite got the hang of it, found it cumbersome. If mom is uncomfortable with it, then baby will be also, so there is no point in using it. I returned this item and got a different carrier to create a hands free environment. I don't miss this product at all.
