  • Summary: I've used this alot when going out in town through the day, makes it so much easier to navigate transport and town without a buggy/pram.
  • Pros: Baby can face in or out and it is easy to change position when out and about. Easy to get baby in on your own. Great for public transport, no being told you're not allowed on the bus because there is no room! Easy to clean as the front comes off and goes in the washing machine. Baby feels close t...
  • Cons: It is quite expensive and when baby gets bigger it does start to strain on your back (although I'm sure most carriers do!). Adjusting and getting used to straps took some time.

  • Summary: I really ummmed and arrred about whether to pay the extra to buy this version from the Baby Bjorn range. All told I think it was money well spent. All of the Baby Bjorn carriers are easy to use once you have them set up to fit you.
  • Pros: Easy to get on and off packs away into a small integrated bag (i.e. you can't lose the bag) machine washable (yay) quick drying because of the material good weight distribution Doesn't ruin the line of my tailored jackets (only applies to guys in suits)
  • Cons: takes a few goes to get all the straps adjusted to suit you is a pain to re-adjust all the straps if someone else uses it Expensive

" Comfortable & a lifesaver…"

  • Excerpt: This product is extremely comfortable for parent and baby. It's easy to adjust to whichever parent is wearing it and also for baby as he/she grows. Our son loves being in it. In fact, sometimes it's the only place he'll settle.

30 March 2012
  • Excerpt: The hard clip at the parent's abdomen that attaches to the sling is positioned so it presses painfully into the private parts of the baby. I couldn't work out why my daughter screamed every time she was in it, then I started placing a folded muslin cloth over that clip and she was peaceful.
