Summary: I really ummmed and arrred about whether to pay the extra to buy this version from the Baby Bjorn range. All told I think it was money well spent. All of the Baby Bjorn carriers are easy to use once you have them set up to fit you. The baby is comfortable in it, it is easy to get on and off, and easy to get the baby in and out of.
Pros: Baby can face in or out and it is easy to change position when out and about. Easy to get baby in on your own. Great for public transport, no being told you're not allowed on the bus because there is no room! Easy to clean as the front comes off and goes in the washing machine. Baby feels close to you and well supported. Fully adjustable for different wearers. I have worn it for up to around 4 hours at a time without discomfort. Style good as my husband didn't object ...
Cons: It is quite expensive and when baby gets bigger it does start to strain on your back (although I'm sure most carriers do!). Adjusting and getting used to straps took some time. takes a few goes to get all the straps adjusted to suit you is a pain to re-adjust all the straps if someone else uses it Expensive
Summary: After trying and failing to work out how to use a fabric carrier that was lent to us we did some research and bought the synergy by baby bjorn. It took about 5 minutes to adjust and put on the first time but now we get out of the house in seconds. It's very well put together and feels like it will be lightweight and breathable for long summer walks. The design looks good on men and women and our small newborn is very happy in it.
Summary: I bought this product as a substitute to stroller and I'm very pleased with my decision. It's very easy to carry baby in this specially during travel. It distributes the weight evenly. It's well designed. I'm looking forward to use it in hotter countries and would like to see how it performs there. It's little bit costly but compensates with its extremely good quality and design.
Summary: I decided on the synergy thinking that would be cooler for the summer months even in the uk. Very pleased with it. worth paying extra for the extra back support. 3 week old, second child has times when he doesn't want to be put down so this allows me to get stuff done without interruption- he loves sleeping in it. very useful piece of kit, it is on the pricey side though I think.
Summary: This baby carrier does what it says. It's built to a high standard and is very dynamic with many ways of using it. The only limitation is that it can't be used to carry a baby on your back but other than that, this is one of the best solutions to baby carrying there is.
Summary: Hope to carry tot around quite a bit in the first months. Researched all of the slings and carriers on the market, but in the end chose the BabyBjorn. Expensive but so well constructed, I think we made the right choice.
Summary: This is a really good value, great quality sling. My son is at the top of the weight range so I was looking for a sling that would distribute his weight well so that I could carry him for several hours without getting a back ache and this sling does the job. It is a bit complicated to set up or adjust if you are sharing usage with your partner but in my opinion it's worth it as my son feels very safe once he is in and it's comfortable for several hours for both of us.
