Summary: I already had an original carrier four years old given to me. My baby didn't enjoy it while he was small, but at 3 months began facing outward and loved it. I just about sweated to death on walks though. Love the synergy fabric! Also the new model has a little mesh bag at the bottom that stays attached so you can put the carrier inside. It's nice not to have all the straps dangling when not using.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy Use, Lightweight, Strong Construction
Summary: This is an excellent baby carrier and is so comfortable to wear. My daughter loved being carried in it facing me, she'd nap away. Now that she's big enough she loves looking out. The back support is wonderful. I carried her through NYC for hours and never had any trouble with my back or shoulders. Great padding and adjustments. I particularly like that it's so breathable so neither of us get too hot.
Summary: Serves its purpose. Great for when going grocery shopping. Seems breathable enough, but a bit stiff for my taste. Material is mesh but not as soft as I would have liked. Baby doesn't seem to mind though. I have an Evenflo Snugli for home use and it is much softer, minus the lumbar straps that Bjorn provides. All in all, am glad I got the top of the line Bjorn, especially since Amazon had it for alot cheaper than store price, free shipping, no tax!
Excellent If You Have a Good Back and a Light Baby...

Summary: When my daughter was looking for baby carriers, I really encouraged her to purchase a Baby Bjorn Synergy carrier. The mesh material seemed as if would would allow for good air circulation, and I felt it would be comfortable for the baby and for the person carrying the child. Several of the individual who would be using the carrier are hot-natured, so the lighter, aerated fabric seemed to be a real positive.
Summary: I was so excited to get this in the mail. I slipped it on and put my daughter in...first of all, in the forward position the flap that is folded down reaches right at the baby's mouth so they are gagging essentially. The major "NO" factor is that my baby's thighs after literally 5 minutes of use were bright red and I mean painful looking. She was excited to be facing forward but there is no way I am keeping this. Too many things are wrong with this carrier. Skip it!
Summary: I LOVE this carrier. My 2 month old falls asleep in it every time I use it. I can carry her while in the store and she is quiet the whole time until she falls asleep and stays asleep until I put her back in the carseat. It is a little hard to not wake her up when I try to take her out. I think I have to practice more at taking her out without waking her up. I would recommend this product to any parent! Plus, a great price through Amazon!!!
Summary: I purchased the Babybjorn Synergy after the birth of my second daughter so I could have my hands free to help my older daughter when we were out. I love it. I have owned other baby carriers and always had a problem with them hurting my back after a short period of time especially when the baby became larger. I used this carrier until my daughter was about a year and my back never hurt.
Summary: After trying a few models from this and different manufacturers, settled on this model. Keeps cool when using this on warm days. Good support for your back. Fits my wife and me with no problems. Some of the other models get really hot. Amazon price is the best out there, almost 1/2 the price as our local baby store.
Summary: baby (10 months) was happy mommy and daddy were happy, even after carrying baby in sling for hours easy to put on and off (once you figure it out the first time) definitely spreads the weight between the lower back and the shoulders
Summary: I originally purchased the bjorn active. I knew I wanted one that had the extra back support, I had considered the active because of the mesh. Believe me I done extensive research on carriers before I made a decision. I compared many brands, styles, etc....I knew a bjorn would be best for me because my 3 month old daughter loves to face out, not many carriers offer this feature.
