Ouch my back!

bjulyn21, toysrus.com
29 June 2014
  • Excerpt: I picked this carrier off the reviews. I am a very active individual and I wanted to be hands free ASAP to walk the dog, do errands, etc with my new bundle. She was 7 lbs at birth and I walked her a few times a couple of miles in the first few weeks and was a little uncomfortable but thought it was just from labor. The Bjorn is very easy to use and get her in and out of.
  • Pros: Easy Use, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Stylish
  • Cons: Uncomfortable

Thought this was the must have item...

New SAHM, toysrus.com
29 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I registered for this because was told it was the "must-have" item for new moms & dads. My daughter is almost 4 months and I have used this only twice. She was really small when she was born so didn't "fit" in it right at first and now just doesn't seem to like it. Her head doesn't seem to stay put and we just don't really have a need for it.
  • Pros: Lightweight
  • Cons: Difficult To Set Up, Uncomfortable

Not for older/large babies

Curly Sue, toysrus.com
24 May 2014
  • Excerpt: Baby bjorn is great for small babies. Once my LO hit 3 months this carrier was unable to support the extra weight. The lack of support causes a strain on my lower back and shoulders. My LO is now 17 pounds and there's no way I can use the carrier for any significant time. I am very disappointed in this product!
  • Pros: Easy Use, Lightweight

BAD SLING!

bathebelle, Made for Mums
16 October 2008
  • Summary: There are MANY better options out there
  • Pros: It's a form of babywearing, and carrying your baby in a sling can oly be a good thing.
  • Cons: uncofortable, front facing out can agrivate infant hip dyspraxia, only usable for a limited time due to small body size.
