  • Conclusion: An impressive car seat that combines longevity with innovation. With the ability to face forward and rearward it’s a good choice if you’ve got ISOFIX fittings, don’t swap vehicles and don’t want to buy two car seats in (relatively) quick succession.
  • Pros: Versatile, slim, easy to fit, third anchor point makes it very secure, height adjustable headrest, soft padded shoulder straps, side impact protection, Buying a new car seat after only 9 months or so can be frustrating and expensive. The PrimeoFix will serve you, and your baby, until they’re almost ready for school, making it a reasonable buy at RRP £180. There’s no denying that this is a big car seat.   • Cons: Heavy, hard to move between cars, can't be fitted with seatbelts, recline positions could be more exaggerated, Using the PrimeoFix with Poppy’s big sister, Minnie, 2 ½, highlighted a problem that we’ve had with other car seats – the recline position needs to be more exaggerated so that it’s comfortable to sleep in (it was a little too upright).
