Summary: Safety 1st onBoard 35 Infant Car Seat is a very good, little car seat, with a top rating for crash protection. Nothing is more important to me than the safety of my grandchildren. This seat fits the smallest four pound baby up to 35 pounds and 32 inches long.
Excerpt: I used this car seat with a regular safety 1st stroller and the base it came with. My son was 6 weeks old when I got rear ended on the highway. The person who hit me was going 40-45mph. This car seat, installed correctly, held my son in place and there was no damage done to him.
Pros: Easy to install, Safe, Sturdy
Cons: Bulky, Heavy, Infant Harness, Poorly Designed Harness
Summary: I like the price and design. I bought it for my newborn daughter. The only thing that would make it better would be a better head rest. My daughters head always falls to side cause the head rest isn't very supportive.
Summary: I bought this for a friend who is expecting. I researched car seats (because I'm very paranoid about correct car seat usage) and found this one which has a great price and great limits. I checked out car seats for the littles on facebook and they recommend this seat a lot.
Excerpt: We received this carseat as a gift from my mother-in-law. We were having a boy so it fit perfectly. The base was a bit difficult to install, but that seems standard for carseats. We have a small Nissan Altima, so we put it in the center with the lap belt.
