Summary: My son is two weeks young and everytime I put him in this car seat he cries and I mean every time. I put him in my daughters old car seat just to see if he'd cry and he didn't he actually was happy and fell asleep on his own. I will be returning this car seat!!!!
Summary: After looking on Consumer Reports, I ordered this car seat which ( according to Wal-Mart.com) was for an infant. When I received it and took it out of the box, there were several things missing. The instruction manual , the 5 point safety harness, the snuggie to keep a newborn in place and a lot more. Very unhappy with Wal Mart on this purchase and of course they do not carry the real infant ones in stock.
Summary: So, I am a Britax momma but I got the Safety 1st stroller as a shower gift. I was so impressed with it that I bought the matching carseat after some review. My big girl is 3 months and I regret the decision every day. The cover where her legs rest or will eventually rest when she grows is WORN. It is snagged and pilled. The kid doesn't wear anything bedazzled. Just sleepers and comfy clothes. But, the material has not held up at all. Very disappointing.
Summary: This car seat is a nightmare. I choose this one because it seemed like the most comfortable and safe for my infant daughter. NOT. It is first of all so heavy I can hardly pick it up, and my baby is only 11 pounds. The belts are everywhere and impossible to adjust.Just don't purchase this seat!!!
Cons: Bulky, Difficult To Adjust, Difficult to Set Up, Hard to Install, Heavy
Excerpt: I purchased this product for my daughter and I regret spending a penny for it. My husband wanted to purchase the Chicco set and I was more interested in saving a few bucks. Plue the Safety 1st brand had no recalls. Unfortunately, the products quality is extremely poor. The sun shade has completed disconnected from the seat and the plactic portion pieces are stripping. In addition, The fabric inside the seat is rolling up and stripping.

Summary: This car seat looks nice and is indeed comfy. I bought it when I had my son. It was supposed to hold babies up to 40pounds, but my 8month old son is 24pounds and he cant fit when he has his jacket on. The upper part where the kids rest their head is so narrow that you almost have to buy another car seat. Additionally, the belt is really short. It gets so tight that u would almost not want to belt the baby. Its not worth the price, cause it isnt functional beyond 6months!
Cons: Difficult To Adjust, Poor Construction, Uncomfortable
Summary: [...] It is also very heavy. When my son was smaller I carried it a few time and each time my back was sore the next day. Now that he is bigger I can't carry it at all. The handle sits too high which causes the toys that you put on to hit my son in the face. I had the Graco snugride with my daughter and love it and had no problems with it. I wish I had bought it again.
