Summary: We have the Eddie Bauer® TriTrek Travel System and we needed an extra base because my husband and I drop off/pick up our daughter from day care. It was inconvenient to strap the car seat in my car every time, so I decided I needed an extra base.
Summary: Safety 1st are one of the more expensive car seat/strollers but are really worth the money. By far one of the best out there. Id recommed this product as well as all safety 1st products to everyone.
Summary: We were given a wonderful travel system from another retailor and found this 2nd base on this site, due to price ordered it from here but read reviews on several sites that this base is to "fit all Safety 1st infant car seats". It does not.
Excerpt: I ordered this online because my closest free standing babies r us is a hour away. I was so disappointed when it arrived and so was my husband. For the price I expected a lot of more features. Its also navy not black like the picture looks. The design reminds me of a 80's style carpet.
Excerpt: I used this car seat with a regular safety 1st stroller and the base it came with. My son was 6 weeks old when I got rear ended on the highway. The person who hit me was going 40-45mph. This car seat, installed correctly, held my son in place and there was no damage done to him.
Pros: Easy to install, Safe, Sturdy
Cons: Bulky, Heavy, Infant Harness, Poorly Designed Harness
Summary: The LATCH system was not attached to the rod when I received it. Will update this review when I exchange it for one that is correctly assembled. It does fit the carseat though, so if you plan to use it with the belt system instead of the LATCH system that won't matter.
Summary: I read the reviews before making this purchase. I was familiar with some of the other brands, but this carseat rated higher. For the safety features and the price, how could I go wrong? I bought the London Stripes and the colors are absolutely beautiful and vibrant!!!
