Summary: The car seat is really cute but the seat didn't have enough cushion and we bought this because the car seat we had was recalled. We were going on a long trip for vacation and my child was going to have to sit in for 11 hrs. And the seat was really hard. The cup holder was not wide enough for her sippie cup so she had to hold it.
Summary: We got 2, one for each car and so far no complaints. Our 14 month old likes it, it serves it's purpose, and a great price. Doesn't feel cheap so I feel like it's safe, was a little doubtful if I installed it right but I read the instructions over and over to be sure. Since it turns into a booster, will hopefully get plenty of years out of it. Definitely wish it had a more gender neutral color though!
Summary: Great seat. Sturdy, comfy, nice quality, great price and great hight/weight range. However, it didn't work in either of our cars. We have a Toyota Siena and the Carseat did not work as rear facing because our Van seats “scoop” too much. The Carseat would not sufficiently recline and our 12month old’s head would drop forward. It would have been perfect if we wanted to use it only as forward facing.
Summary: The color options are limited but acceptable. At least to my family, installation directions aren't the greatest because there is a strap that I am still unclear what to do with but am still investigating. Overall I'd recommend this due to price and size allowances.
Summary: Safety 1st has been a good product for all our car seat/travel system needs. The car seat is solid, pads can be removed for cleaning. Difficult to understand the directions but make sure you rethread the LATCH device when moving from rear facing to forward facing. No packing support besides the box when the car seat was received and no labeling to which side was up (no visible damage but that is possible).
Summary: I bought this after my sister had gotten one very similar to it and recommended it. I love the fact that it goes up to 80 lbs, because now I will not need to get a booster seat when my daughter gets a little older. I wish I would have bought this when she was first born since the range goes from 5-80 lbs all together.
Summary: I was looking for a convertible car seat for my son like my mom and dad purchased for my neice a few years back and found this one. They have the Alpha Omega Elite and This Safety 1st car seat is exactly like it and cheaper! This is a car seat that he will be for at least 3 years, I think I will definately get my money worth with this one! He was so tired of looking at the back of the seat and now he is forward facing and you can still recline it!
