Summary: Bought this on the Which recommend best buys I was not disappointed. Fits into my Picasso MPV like a glove, easy to install and remove, my granddaughter Florence loves it. Although it's very expensive what price do you put on car safety and comfort for your precious little one. I was fortunately able to buy this from Amazon when it was on offer so got it for £178.00 and not the original price.
Good value Which best buy & our 9 month old loves it
31 July 2014
Summary: I did a lot of research before buying the Recaro Monza Nova IS car seat for our 9 month old son, who is now too tall for his 0/0+ seat. Mistakenly, I initially believed that a seat covering multiple groups would be less safe than a seat for group 1 only. After signing up for Which and reading many reviews and safety results, I was pleased to find that this 1/2/3 group seat provided good safety results across each group.
Summary: Purchased this product for my almost 3-year-old daughter as her first forward-facing seat. She loves it! So do I! The seat will last her for a long time, and the impact shield hasn't caused her any problems. I'm not used to all of her questions on everything she sees, and her being able to see what I'm eating in the car! Brilliant purchase, she's happy and safe.
Summary: Very high quality. Materials are very nice to the touch. Our daughter was fed up with the old baby seat she had so we got her this. So far so good. It's pretty easy to install too and not very heavy.
Summary: we had a recaro monza nova without a cushion which was great but in an accident so we replaced it with this one. my 3 year old son loves this seat. much easier and quicker strapping him in than a harness and way more secure than just using the seatbelt. he seems very comfortable in it and likes the feeling of security the cushion provides.
Summary: Very good product, easy to get baby in and out. Baby also looks very comfy and sleeps really well in the seat. Only thing is my 14 month old is only just big enough for it (she is tall for her are too) so I think at 9 months she would have been far too small.
Summary: Rear facing car seats are the safest car seats for your child. Extended rear facing is fantastic with the right car seat (Recaro also do these types of car seats). My first child was rear facing up until he was 5 years of age and outgrew his car seat by height well before weight. And then I had my second son...He was rear facing for the first 16 months of his life but going anywhere was...far from pleasant. From day one he hated the car. We tried everything..
Summary: We bought this based on the Which report for child safety - it was rated really well (Oct 2013). It has ISOFIX or belt option so ideal if you need to switch cars occassionally. It feels really robust and well padded. Child falls asleep and can rest arms and head on the padding bit that goes across them - my 3 year old loves it and I am happy that it is good for face on collision and side impact (Which report tested).
