Summary: Bought the car seat on offer and paid less for it being pink - but it's not over powering. The seat is light despite being isofix which makes it more portable and transferable between cars. It's easy to use once you get the hand of it - does rely on the adult bending over to fix into seatbelt. It is high enough up though that I can't see my 3 years old being anywhere close to undoing the seat buckle.
Dangerous and uncomfortable impact shield. No good for 18month old.

Summary: I bought this seat for my 18 month old son after he had outgrown his rear facing maxicosi car seat. I have given it two stars as this seat is useless for group one age children. The seat states it can be used from 9 month this is absolutely not true my son is average size for 18 months and kept slipping down under the impact shield.
Summary: Fantastic seat. Looked this up on the Which website also. It rates highly in the safety tests. It fits well into my BMW 1 series and my 2 year old is happy and comfortable in it. I wouldn't buy it for a young baby though. I'm not sure how comfortable a 9 month old baby would be with the impact cushion. I'd be surprised if they'd see over the top of the cushion really. All in all it's a 5/5 car seat and great value for money.
Summary: Had a good look around and it is was a choice between this and Cybex Pallas M fix. This is over £100 cheaper and has a really good Which rating. I am so glad I chose this seat. My boy loves it and it has longevity. It is robust and really good quality. It has isofix points and can be used without isofix so it is very versatile. Note that the English instructions are under the seat though.
Summary: Durable & sturdy product that comes apart for cleaning & material can be washed at 30 degrees. Unlike most seats it firmly fits to the car via isofix (without a separate base). This means there is less chance of badly fitting it or it moving in an accident. If you intend to use the front guard it is imperative that your child is seated correctly before you fit it & it is tightly secured by the seat belt. Otherwise it can be manipulated by its occupant to slouch or slide.
