Summary: A well designed seat that really will last as your child grows because of the adjustable width and height. Not the most expensive car seat around, and not the cheapest either - it's a good mid-price item.
Pros: This seat was easy to slot in and fitted spot on. It's very comfy, and we've been using it from when our little one was 3. I adore how the width of it is adjustable as well as its height - very clever!
Cons: I really like the seat, but a few friends commented that their car seat's safety harness/belts seems just that tiny bit better to use than ours.
Summary: Would not put my sons in any other seat, excellant and safe. Perfect
Pros: Quick and easy to move and yet still gives excellant protection, our sons also love the fact They can alter the side head rests themselves for when they are tired. This is the best seat for sleeping in, our sons heads have never 'lolled' forward as thyy have in others
Cons: Never bothered using the plastic base. Although the idea behind it is good (move seat to light recline) it was impossible to do with heavy children
Excerpt: This car seat is for ages around 3 years plus depending upon the size and weight of your child. We have had one of these since one of our grandchildren was about 3.5 and grew out of the previous size.
Excerpt: We bought this Maxi Cosi seat after reading the Which report online (the online version of Which? Magazine). As with all previous car seats safety has been of upmost importance. We have not been in a crash but trust the vigorous testing of our Which? gurus.

Excerpt: We were really pleased with our group 1 Maxi cosi car seat and our next stage car seat - the Maxi Cosi Rodi XR hasn't disappointed us either. It is incredibly easy to fit into our car and can be easily transferred into the Grandparents car when they need it.
Excerpt: When my second child was 9 months, my eldest (then age 4) was evicted from the M&P Pratico as it was required for his younger brother. We then had to decide what type of seat to buy for him. We could have theoretically gone for 'just' a booster seat, but having read articles in Which?
