Excerpt: I loved this car seat when I saw it. The bright color was fun and different from other seats used. It was a little pricey compared to other seats but I eventually bought it. This is my "spare" second car seat and I am happy I don't use it very often. This car seat is very difficult to install. The seat belts get twisted and it doesn't lock in tightly.
Excerpt: i didnt but this seat, it was a gift, but i would not buy it again. the cup holder broke off befor my son was even old enough to use it. it does not stay in place in my husbands 99 tahoe since the 99's didnt come with safty hooksyou have to put the seat belt threw the bottom and when you turn leans to the side my son freaked out!!! so did i!!! its hard to get the cover off to wash it, and candy and crums get down the seat to the base of the carseat and dont come out.
Excerpt: I don't hate this seat, but i by no means love it. It is really cute and sleek. It is VERY easy to install and go from rear facing to forward facing. I did love this seat while rear facing. It installed easy and felt very secure. My daughter seems comfy in it. I like how easy the chest clasp is to buckle and unbuckel, but i worry that it will be easier for a toddler to undo than the more common style clasps. It is quite easy to clean.
Excerpt: i love this seat but it does have it's drawbacks. as a fan of rear facing as long as possible this seat forced me to forward face at 35lbs and then the child maxes out of the carseat at only 40lbs. lucky for us, our second child will be using this seat before our first child hits 40 lbs. i wish he could use it longer. this is the best seat for long trips. there are 4 recline positions that can be adjusted while the carseat is installed.
Maxi Cosi Priori definitely does not compare to Britax Marathon
11 August 2009
Excerpt: I purchased the Maxi Cosi Priori car seat to use as a second seat in my husband's car, and I have to admit- I am glad I have the Britax Marathon in my car. The Priori is very difficult to install and the seat belt is alway getting twisted. The buckle is very hard to push in, and often gives me blisters just trying to get my son buckled in. It is average at best- go with the Marathon- miles better!
SAFE & EASY TO FIT , BUT SEAT BELT HOLDERS NOT VERY GOOD
Louisa Rosbotham, Made for Mums

Summary: If the Manufacturer could update the car seat with better seatbelt holders and non twist straps it would be perfect.
Pros: Easy to fit, seatbelt tensioner is good too, not too heavy to move arund different cars. Looks really good and baby is comfy too. Being able to reach behind and tip the baby seat back when baby sleeps with one hand is great!
Cons: Strap "holders" that are supposed to keep straps away while you put baby in are rubbish and keep falling off. Straps far too easy to get twisted up too.
Average car seat, have used better one from less popular brands.

Summary: Build quality is good, can be installed easily. But failed to make me a fan or thinking of recommending to others. I have used different brands and some cheaper ones were better. 2 massive issues, which put me off are: 1- Straps always twists within locks, which is big annoyance when every time you have to untwist. 2- When you pull the strap to tighten the harness, it doesn't pull both sides equally, I always have to adjust one manually.
